We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Farouq is a mixed district of south Jeddah between the ring road and Old Makkah Road, with apartment buildings alongside villas and vacant plots. Major roads run through it carrying heavy traffic. Curtains here collect diesel soot and highway emissions from Haramain Road and Al Falah Road, which pass close by.
Heavy traffic on the expressway and main roads deposits oily diesel particulates and soot that sticks to curtains much more readily than in quiet residential areas. For the method itself, see how we approach curtain cleaning.
Haramain Road, Al Falah Road and Jeddah Makkah expressway all run close to the neighbourhood carrying heavy truck and car traffic. The oily dust from vehicle exhausts enters windows directly and settles deep in the fabric.
Warehouses and workshops mark the district edges, and the dust from there is darker and oilier than ordinary street dust. Curtains absorb this mixture and become a dark grey within weeks, not months.
Open ground between houses and active construction areas raise sand and stone dust throughout the day. Homes near these open areas face a higher dust load, and cleaning needs stronger treatment to remove it.

Fabric and how it hangs: Curtains vary from light cotton to heavy velvet depending on the home, hung on standard rails or basic ring systems.
Panels taken down carefully: We remove carefully because dirt and grease have built up on the edges and we avoid transferring them to furniture.
Dry vacuum before any water: We start with strong suction to lift the heavy oily soot and dust before introducing any moisture.
Stains treated one by one: Oily soot stains need entirely different treatment than plain dust or damp marks.
Cleaning method set by type: Light fabrics need extended soak time, heavy weaves need more mechanical action to release the build up.
Rehung and creases dropped: We rehang in the original location and spread evenly for uniform drying.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
In a mixed neighbourhood like Al Farouq, the pollution sources are varied: vehicle exhausts, industrial dust, and construction dust. Each type requires different treatment and the cleaning needs to be customised.
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
In Al Farouq we access via Haramain Road or Al Falah Road, and we time the visit by your location relative to Abdullah ibn Rawahah Mosque or Al Farouq Park so we reach the right building quickly.
We provide these in Al Farouq too, and more than one can share a single visit.
