The access to reach it safely
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.

Al Zuhour is a new subdivision of Obhur Al Shamaliyah, part of a developing urban area where land and housing are still being released and built. New villas have chandeliers hung before building nearby is complete, and sand enters easily from vacant plots and unpaved roads. New chandeliers here need cleaning before the family moves in and may need another after nearby building finishes.
Sand and dust from vacant plots and active building enter new villas easily, and chandeliers pick up construction dust rapidly. For the method itself, see our chandelier cleaning service in detail.
Al Zuhour is under development and some roads are not yet paved. Fine sand enters under doors and windows and settles on every high surface. New chandeliers hung recently collect this sand from day one. Villas near unpaved roads get the most sand.
Active construction in the district raises fine dust from digging and concrete work. This dust is different from natural sand because it is finer and stickier. Villas close to build sites collect twice the pollution.
New gardens are on sprinkler systems and spray rises to coat crystal and glass. Building dust plus irrigation deposits together form a stubborn film on new chandeliers.
A subdivision of Obhur Al Shamaliyah in north Jeddah, part of a new urban tract whose land and housing are still being released and built, served by main roads.
Inspection of new chandeliers focuses on sand, construction dust and new garden spray deposits, not accumulated layers.
Power must be cut and moisture from irrigation must be checked in wiring before power is restored.
Photography before dismantling is vital because the chandelier is new and original instructions may not be available.
Each piece washes easily to remove fine construction dust and chalk from irrigation spray.
Frame and arms may hold fine construction dust that needs very soft brushing to clear.
Drying must be fast in clean air, and reassembly done away from active dust if possible.
The circuit is switched off before anything is touched, and warm bulbs are given time to cool.
We check how it is built, which crystals are loose, and how it comes apart before removing a thing.
The area under the fixture is covered before we start, so a dropped crystal lands soft and nothing marks the floor or table below.
Where the piece allows, crystals come off and are washed and dried individually.
With the crystals off or aside, the frame, arms, bulb holders and ceiling mount are wiped down, since that is where film and webs hide behind the glass.
Every crystal goes back to its place, the fixture is switched on and checked, and we walk the room with you.
New development: ongoing construction and vacant plots between the homes
New development here means the villas themselves and their chandeliers are new, but the surrounding environment is still under development. A new chandelier may be exposed to construction dust more than chandeliers in settled districts, which means more frequent cleaning and special protection.
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.
We send a team, not one person, so crystals come off, get washed and go back in one visit, without a lone worker hurrying a fragile piece to finish before dark.
Whether crystals come off or are cleaned in place depends on how the fixture is built.
Nothing is done until the fixture is back together, switched on, and you have seen it throw its light.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until the fixture is reassembled, lit, and you have seen it for yourself.
North Jeddah is largely newer villa districts and compounds around Obhur and inland from it. Homes here tend to have marble or porcelain floors, large windows and a garden or courtyard, so the routine is set by what comes in from outside: fine sand carried on sandals, and sprinkler spray that dries to a chalky ring on tiles. Near the creek and the coast, sea air leaves a faint salt film on glass and on outdoor cushions, which stiffens fabric. Curtains and upholstery in these open plan rooms catch the dust that settles overnight.
We provide these in Al Zuhour too, and more than one can share a single visit.
