The access to reach it safely
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.

Al Salihiyah is a new district in northern Jeddah east of Al Hamdaniyah and south of Al Falah, with modern villas and apartments on newly released land and vacant plots still lying between the buildings. Modern chandeliers collect fine sand from gardens and courtyards, and desert dust blows in from the east. The district is growing so ceilings and wiring are all new and untested.
Villas and flats here are newer than south Jeddah areas and ceilings are high. Empty plots around the district mean strong winds and desert dust blowing from the east. For the method itself, see the full chandelier cleaning page.
The district sits between the city and desert on the eastern side, and empty land between buildings means wind carries coarse dust and fine gravel. Chandeliers collect this lighter coloured, coarser desert dust, not the finer coastal kind.
Many vacant plots remain undeveloped, so construction may happen at any time near the villa. Digging and building raise dust and sand quickly, so the chandelier darkens fast even if it was recently cleaned.
The villas are brand new and ceiling and wiring are both new. Circuit breakers may not be labelled and the ceiling may be designed unusually. We need to ask questions and pay close attention before dismantling.
A new district in north Jeddah east of Al Hamdaniyah and south of Al Falah and Al Rahmaniyah, reached by Al Furusiyah Street, laid out with recent villa and apartment subdivisions and vacant plots between buildings.
A chandelier in a new district may be modern European crystal or contemporary brass, and ceiling is new and high: we inspect from below carefully first.
New villas have secure stairs and slippery marble floors: we place protective mats under the ladder base and isolate the correct circuit carefully.
We photograph from multiple angles and map the layout precisely, especially if crystals are numerous.
Pieces soak in warm water and may need longer if desert sand is embedded, then scrub gently.
Frame and arms clean carefully and we confirm sand and dust are gone from every crevice before drying.
We reassemble exactly by photograph, test each bulb, wait at least two hours before complete confirmation.
The circuit is switched off before anything is touched, and warm bulbs are given time to cool.
We check how it is built, which crystals are loose, and how it comes apart before removing a thing.
The area under the fixture is covered before we start, so a dropped crystal lands soft and nothing marks the floor or table below.
Where the piece allows, crystals come off and are washed and dried individually.
With the crystals off or aside, the frame, arms, bulb holders and ceiling mount are wiped down, since that is where film and webs hide behind the glass.
Every crystal goes back to its place, the fixture is switched on and checked, and we walk the room with you.
New development: ongoing construction and vacant plots between the homes
A new development district means empty plots and ongoing construction nearby. We need scheduling flexibility and may suggest rescheduling if building is raising heavy dust. A brand new villa means the owner may not know all electrical and ceiling details, so we advise specialist inspection if we are uncertain.
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.
We send a team, not one person, so crystals come off, get washed and go back in one visit, without a lone worker hurrying a fragile piece to finish before dark.
Whether crystals come off or are cleaned in place depends on how the fixture is built.
Nothing is done until the fixture is back together, switched on, and you have seen it throw its light.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until the fixture is reassembled, lit, and you have seen it for yourself.
Al Salihiyah is reached by Al Furusiyah Street from the west, with Abdulrahman bin Awf Mosque in the district and Abu Bakr Al Siddiq Mosque nearby. The position between these landmarks makes navigation clear even in a brand new district.
We provide these in Al Salihiyah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
