The access to reach it safely
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.

Al Marsa is a brand new subdivision at the far south of Jeddah whose name means harbour or anchorage, lying closest to the coast of this outlying cluster of districts. The plan is still at an early stage with mosques and schools not yet built. Chandeliers in new homes here need protection from the high humidity and salt spray close to the sea.
The coastal location means higher humidity and salt in the air, so modern chandeliers need special care against rapid corrosion and rust. For the method itself, see what chandelier cleaning involves.
Al Marsa lies closer to the coast than its neighbouring districts, so humidity is very high and salt in the air enters homes. This causes rapid corrosion on metals and affects electrical wiring, so cleaning needs careful safety inspection.
The district is brand new and wide vacant land surrounds the new homes, so winds carry additional dust from the sea and ground. Modern chandeliers gather layers of salt and dust together.
Al Lith Road, the Ring Road and Jeddah Axial Road lie close to the new district. Jeddah Second Industrial City is also nearby, and this new growth point is becoming a hub of expansion.
A subdivision at the far southern edge of Jeddah closer to the coast than adjacent districts, the area is still at an early stage with no mosques, schools or named local roads yet on maps.
Modern chandeliers in brand new homes are usually contemporary metals or modern crystal, each requiring separate inspection before work begins.
Modern wiring is usually safe, but salt and humidity may affect it so we test carefully and disconnect power safely.
We photograph the layout before removal, important for modern fixtures with complex contemporary designs.
Each piece is rinsed separately in clean water then washed with approved solutions that remove salt and moisture without damaging metals.
The frame and arms receive special attention because salt and humidity create rapidly accelerating deposits on modern metal surfaces.
After reassembly we light the fixture and ask your approval before we finish.
The circuit is switched off before anything is touched, and warm bulbs are given time to cool.
We check how it is built, which crystals are loose, and how it comes apart before removing a thing.
The area under the fixture is covered before we start, so a dropped crystal lands soft and nothing marks the floor or table below.
Where the piece allows, crystals come off and are washed and dried individually.
With the crystals off or aside, the frame, arms, bulb holders and ceiling mount are wiped down, since that is where film and webs hide behind the glass.
Every crystal goes back to its place, the fixture is switched on and checked, and we walk the room with you.
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.
We send a team, not one person, so crystals come off, get washed and go back in one visit, without a lone worker hurrying a fragile piece to finish before dark.
Whether crystals come off or are cleaned in place depends on how the fixture is built.
Nothing is done until the fixture is back together, switched on, and you have seen it throw its light.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until the fixture is reassembled, lit, and you have seen it for yourself.
Al Marsa lies on Al Lith Road and the Ring Road, near Jeddah Axial Road and Jeddah Second Industrial City, which makes the new homes easily reached by the team via these clearly marked reference points.
We provide these in Al Marsa too, and more than one can share a single visit.
