We test before we clean
Testing the material on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Zuhour is a new development within Obhur Al Shamaliyah, with new villas and vacant plots still being released for building. Fine sand enters with every footstep and ongoing construction brings dust and grit. New carpet needs deep vacuuming to remove sand before it becomes woven into the pile. Continuous construction means sand and grit are always coming in.
Carpet in the new Al Zuhour collects fine sand and grit from active construction sites and vacant land much faster than in completed districts. For the method itself, see our guide to carpet and rug cleaning.
Al Zuhour is still being built out and subdivisions are under construction. Sand and grit from trucks and excavations enters the new villas. Feet carry fine sand and small stones in. New carpet traps the particles very quickly.
Vacant land surrounds the new villas. Air carries fine sand and dust into the homes. Windows and doors do not stop fine particles. Curtains and carpet collect sand rapidly.
The villas are very new and the carpet is brand new. Fine grit damages the new pile quickly when walked on. Deep vacuuming must be gentle but very effective.
A subdivision of Obhur Al Shamaliyah in north Jeddah, part of the new urban tract whose land and housing are still being released and built, with main roads serving the developing area.
Carpet in new Al Zuhour contains sand and grit from active building and vacant land that must be fully removed before washing.
Deep dry vacuuming here must be gentle on new carpet yet powerful in sand removal.
Sand particles and grit are carefully removed before wet washing to prevent damage to new flooring.
The washing method is very gentle on brand new carpet while delivering strong removal of sand and particles.
Fitted carpet is washed with special care in new villas because of the location in an active building zone.
Wet extraction and drying must be complete because sand can retain water and extend drying time.
Wool, synthetic and silk-blends do not take the same heat or the same material.
Before any water.
An oil stain is not treated like a juice stain.
Hot water loosens what is bound in the pile and the extractor pulls it straight back out with the water, together, so nothing is left sitting in the base.
The borders and fringe are done by hand, where machines skip and where wear shows first, so the whole rug looks even.
The carpet is left slightly damp, not wet.
New development: ongoing construction and vacant plots between the homes
Being newly developed means construction is ongoing and vacant land surrounds the villas. Sand and grit from building enter new carpet very quickly. Washing must remove the sand gently on new fibres before it becomes a permanent issue.
Testing the material on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
The company runs a large workforce, and we send a team rather than one worker.
The deep vacuum and extraction machines are ours and arrive with the team.
If a rug needs repair or re-fringing rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think.
North Jeddah is largely newer villa districts and compounds around Obhur and inland from it. Homes here tend to have marble or porcelain floors, large windows and a garden or courtyard, so the routine is set by what comes in from outside: fine sand carried on sandals, and sprinkler spray that dries to a chalky ring on tiles. Near the creek and the coast, sea air leaves a faint salt film on glass and on outdoor cushions, which stiffens fabric. Curtains and upholstery in these open plan rooms catch the dust that settles overnight.
We provide these in Al Zuhour too, and more than one can share a single visit.
