We test before we clean
Testing the material on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Rabie is a new settlement in open ground still under construction: fine sand enters the home with every step from the courtyard, and sprinkler spray drips constantly onto marble and porcelain that must be wiped. New carpet here traps coastal sand deep in the pile at remarkable speed, and curtains catch the faint salt drift that rides certain night breezes from the gulf.
Fine sand from uncompleted roads and courtyards settles into carpet faster than any other district, and coastal humidity plus salt accelerate visible colour fading. For the method itself, see how we approach carpet and rug cleaning.
Al Rabie is a new district surrounded by building sites, with some roads not fully paved. Fine coastal sand enters homes on feet and air, and the deposition of desert sand into new carpet crowded with upright fibres happens at alarming speed. Dry vacuuming is critical and must be gentle enough not to push the grains deeper.
Most new villas in Al Rabie have courtyards or gardens, and sprinkler spray leaves salt and lime rings on tiles and carpet. Sea air carries fine salt particles, and night humidity collects these particles on fabrics. These minerals cling to dyed carpet and can cause permanent colour fading.
New foundations are vulnerable to moisture rising from coastal soil, and fitted carpet may absorb dampness from the substrate itself. Washing carpet here requires exceptional drying to prevent mould growth in fresh structures.
Al Rabie is a subdivision of Obhur Al Shamaliyah in north Jeddah within a new urban tract whose land is still being released and built on, served by main roads linking it to the Jeddah Madinah Road.
Carpet in Al Rabie is entirely new, modern high-grade synthetic, and fibre types are nearly uniform because all homes were built in the same period.
Dry vacuuming must be powerful because sharp coastal sand requires repeated, careful extraction to avoid embedding sand grains deeper.
Salt and lime from irrigation need specialist chemical treatment before main washing to prevent stains from spreading.
Hot water is safe on new modern synthetics and effective at dissolving salt and mineral residues.
Fitted carpet must dry completely because rising ground moisture from coastal soil may damage the substrate if left damp.
Final drying requires powerful equipment and continuous air circulation because coastal humidity will try to return moisture to the pile.
Wool, synthetic and silk-blends do not take the same heat or the same material.
Before any water.
An oil stain is not treated like a juice stain.
Hot water loosens what is bound in the pile and the extractor pulls it straight back out with the water, together, so nothing is left sitting in the base.
The borders and fringe are done by hand, where machines skip and where wear shows first, so the whole rug looks even.
The carpet is left slightly damp, not wet.
New development: ongoing construction and vacant plots between the homes
New development means fresh foundations that are more vulnerable to rising ground moisture from coastal soil than established older homes. This raises the importance of complete drying and moisture protection after carpet washing.

The company runs a large workforce, and we send a team rather than one worker.
The deep vacuum and extraction machines are ours and arrive with the team.
If a rug needs repair or re-fringing rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think.
North Jeddah is largely newer villa districts and compounds around Obhur and inland from it. Homes here tend to have marble or porcelain floors, large windows and a garden or courtyard, so the routine is set by what comes in from outside: fine sand carried on sandals, and sprinkler spray that dries to a chalky ring on tiles. Near the creek and the coast, sea air leaves a faint salt film on glass and on outdoor cushions, which stiffens fabric. Curtains and upholstery in these open plan rooms catch the dust that settles overnight.
We provide these in Al Rabie too, and more than one can share a single visit.
