The gear reaches the scale
Proper descalers, matched to each surface, are what move mineral off glass and out of grout.

Quwaizah is one of Jeddah's oldest districts and faces Wadi Al Qaws directly. Bathrooms here absorb wadi moisture year round, especially during the rainy season. Floors are old soft marble and ceramic mixed, mould blackens the grout lines rapidly from constant dampness, and the drain holds wadi odour permanently.
Old houses have soft marble floors that have begun to crack from constant salt and moisture, and the walls stay damp all year even in the dry summer. This does not happen in newer districts with modern tile and waterproofing elsewhere. For the method itself, see what bathroom cleaning involves.
The wadi location means the ground beneath each house is wet all year, and water rises from the foundation during rainy months and enters the bathroom from underneath. Walls stay damp even with ventilation running, and mould returns fast because the cause lies under the soil.
Marble in old Quwaizah homes is delicate and has absorbed wadi moisture for decades, so it is cracking from within. Hard cleaning makes it worse. This needs more caution than newer districts with modern ceramic and moisture barriers underneath.
Old piping in Quwaizah may be shared between several houses, trapping wadi odour and mould inside the pipes themselves. Cleaning the bathroom alone does not remove the smell if the pipework is lined with old mould and salt deposits.
The location beside Wadi Al Qaws, which overflowed in 2009, means foundations absorb more moisture and groundwater rises during the rains, so dampness from below enters the bathroom from beneath the floor slab.
The soft old marble floor may be damp from groundwater below, so we test it carefully before cleaning because constant seepage can be made worse by added water.
Taps and metal fixtures in Quwaizah age fast from salt and constant moisture, so we clean them with material that will not cause additional rust on already ageing metal.
Grout lines in old houses beside the wadi are black from deep mould and salt deposits, so we treat each joint carefully without hard scrubbing that could loosen old tiles.
Mirrors and glass in a damp bathroom are cloudy and scratched from accumulated salt buildup, so we clean them gently as the surface may be thin and weakened by moisture.
Bath and basin in the old house may have damp ground underneath, so we focus on draining water completely after cleaning without leaving moisture trapped in the joints.
The drain opening and ventilation outlet in Quwaizah are critical because moisture closes them fast, so we clean them last and ensure air flows freely out to reduce moisture creeping back.
We open the room, take everything off the ledges and shelves, and lift loose hair from the drains before any water or chemical goes down.
Scale on glass, taps and the shower head is not scrubbed off cold.
The joints are treated and scrubbed along the line, top to bottom, because film sits in the porous grout and a flat wipe never enters it.
The bowl, the base joint and the floor trap are done as one stage, since this is where odour lives.
What the products loosened is lifted off, and everything is rinsed downward so nothing dirty settles back onto a cleaned surface.
The damp low corners are dried so nothing feeds mould again, then we walk the room with you.
Proper descalers, matched to each surface, are what move mineral off glass and out of grout.
We send a team, not a single person.
Where scale has already etched the glass or mould has stained the grout for good, we tell you at the inspection.
Nothing is called done until you have walked the room and said so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Quwaizah sits beside Wadi Al Qaws and is administered under the Umm Al Salm Sub-Municipality, and bathrooms here need a special understanding of groundwater and drainage patterns. The location between Mareekh Mountains and the wadi means groundwater rises seasonally, so we focus heavily on ventilation and drain clearance more than anywhere else.
We provide these in Quwaizah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
