The gear reaches the scale
Proper descalers, matched to each surface, are what move mineral off glass and out of grout.

Al Safa is one of Jeddah's oldest northern districts, and its mixed housing of villas, flats and shops means bathrooms vary greatly. Some sit above commercial spaces that pull in street damp, others occupy upper floors of older blocks with ageing pipework. The thick scale on old taps here does not shift with a cloth.
Bathrooms in shops beneath homes trap moisture from the street and the fine black grit that rises from the busy main roads, so the grout and mirrors carry more mould than in quieter areas. For the method itself, see our guide to bathroom cleaning.
Ground floor shops beneath residential units draw moisture up from the pavement and street, so flats above them carry mould deeper into the grout and on the mirrors than homes in other quarters. Ventilation is weak because windows are small or absent, and the air stays humid all day.
Many homes here were built in the 1970s and 1980s, and old steel pipes leave orange rust marks in basins and baths that scrubbing will not touch. These require chemical treatment matched to each surface, not generic scourers.
Souq Al Murjan and Prince Majid Road's commercial run lift a fine black dust that clings to shower curtains and hanging towels. This is dust raised by vehicles and shopfronts, not blown in by wind, and it does not come loose without specialist washing.
Al Safa stretches between Prince Majid Road and King Fahd Road, with markets and a hospital nearby, so floors take in grease from restaurant vents and dust from the main commercial areas.
Al Safa's floors are often terrazzo or aged ceramic tiles, worn smooth. We test before any aggressive scrubbing or strong products.
Taps and mixers here are old and scale may have built up for years. We soak it gently and do not rush the process.
Grout lines in sealed bathrooms below upper flats hold moisture and mould for longer. We work each line individually.
Mirrors and glass are often decades old. The white layer on top needs soaking, not scrubbing.
Baths, toilets and basins in older homes are often stained white or yellowed. We clean each one according to its material and age.
The floor drain may run slow because oils have gathered. We clear it and make sure water flows freely and odour goes.
We open the room, take everything off the ledges and shelves, and lift loose hair from the drains before any water or chemical goes down.
Scale on glass, taps and the shower head is not scrubbed off cold.
The joints are treated and scrubbed along the line, top to bottom, because film sits in the porous grout and a flat wipe never enters it.
The bowl, the base joint and the floor trap are done as one stage, since this is where odour lives.
What the products loosened is lifted off, and everything is rinsed downward so nothing dirty settles back onto a cleaned surface.
The damp low corners are dried so nothing feeds mould again, then we walk the room with you.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
A mixed district means the bathroom might sit above a shop, so it traps street damp and urban grime more than a home in a residential quarter. It also means hot pipes run under the street, warming walls and raising humidity.
Proper descalers, matched to each surface, are what move mineral off glass and out of grout.
We send a team, not a single person.
Where scale has already etched the glass or mould has stained the grout for good, we tell you at the inspection.
Nothing is called done until you have walked the room and said so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Central Jeddah is the old heart of the city: Al Balad with its coral stone houses, and the dense apartment quarters around it with shops beneath the flats. Floors here are often terrazzo or older ceramic tile, worn smooth and easily stained by cooking grease that drifts up from the street. Older kitchens and bathrooms carry heavy scale on taps and around drains, and pipework in the older blocks leaves rust marks in basins. Rugs and curtains take on the fine black dust of the main roads, so they need washing more often than elsewhere.
We provide these in Al Safa too, and more than one can share a single visit.
