The gear reaches the scale
Proper descalers, matched to each surface, are what move mineral off glass and out of grout.

Al Mursalat is an apartment district at the southern edge of Jeddah, wedged between the sea and the Jeddah Makkah Expressway where heavy trucks pass constantly. The dust here is black and oily from diesel soot and workshop grit. Bathrooms in the residential blocks trap this soot, and coastal humidity beds mould deep into every grout line and tile edge.
Soot clings to net curtains and the tops of kitchen cupboards here, and diesel particles reach the bathroom with every window opening onto the expressway. For the method itself, see our guide to bathroom cleaning.
The Jeddah Makkah Expressway runs beside Al Mursalat, and heavy lorries release oily diesel soot that sticks to ceramic and blackens it. Soot is not just grit; it is a mix of oil and metal particles that falls on floors and surfaces constantly and bonds to moisture.
Sea humidity breeds black mould in bathroom grout faster than in inland districts. Sealed apartment blocks trap moisture, and mould grows back even between regular cleaning sessions because the air never fully dries.
Sea moisture and soot together produce an unpleasant stale smell in the bathroom that spreads to towels and curtains. Fabrics absorb this damp-and-grime smell and it does not wash out easily.
The apartment blocks in Al Mursalat are packed close together, and most floors are plain cement or basic ceramic tile that blackens fast where soot is walked in and moisture feeds mould.
Surfaces here are old cement and budget ceramic tile damaged by oily soot, so we test product on a hidden spot first to avoid discolouration.
Scale and deposits on taps are light because the water is soft, but soot covers them so we remove both at the same time.
Grout lines are black from coastal mould, we clean them one by one carefully with product safe for cheap tile.
Glass and mirrors are clouded by salt, damp and soot, we polish them until they shine and dry them thoroughly.
Basin, toilet and tub need deep cleaning from grease, salt and mould because damp concentrates salt on all metal.
Drain and outlet need deep flushing to clear mould and black film, and opening windows after work helps it dry completely.
We open the room, take everything off the ledges and shelves, and lift loose hair from the drains before any water or chemical goes down.
Scale on glass, taps and the shower head is not scrubbed off cold.
The joints are treated and scrubbed along the line, top to bottom, because film sits in the porous grout and a flat wipe never enters it.
The bowl, the base joint and the floor trap are done as one stage, since this is where odour lives.
What the products loosened is lifted off, and everything is rinsed downward so nothing dirty settles back onto a cleaned surface.
The damp low corners are dried so nothing feeds mould again, then we walk the room with you.
Proper descalers, matched to each surface, are what move mineral off glass and out of grout.
We send a team, not a single person.
Where scale has already etched the glass or mould has stained the grout for good, we tell you at the inspection.
Nothing is called done until you have walked the room and said so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
South Jeddah runs from the port and the industrial city down towards Al Khumrah, and homes here sit between the sea and the heavy goods roads. The dust is darker and oilier than in the north, a mix of diesel soot and workshop grit, and it clings to net curtains, window sills and the tops of kitchen cupboards. Floors in the older low rise housing are often plain cement or ceramic tile that darkens where soot is walked in. Humidity from the coast adds mildew in bathrooms and a musty smell in stored fabrics.
We provide these in Al Mursalat too, and more than one can share a single visit.
