We clean it where it is berthed
The work is done at the marina, deck and cabins both.

Um Al Salam is a mixed district in east Jeddah where shops operate at street level and homes rise above them. The dust here is coarser and drier than sea salt, seeping under doors and settling on every surface overnight. Floors mix ceramic tile with marble, each needing different care to stay clean.
Sofas, mattresses and curtains grow heavy with dust far faster here than they do on the waterfront, because the dryness means dust particles do not clump together and fall. For the method itself, see our guide to yacht cleaning.
East Jeddah dust is dry, coarse and paler than sea salt, entering under doors and into cracks. It does not stick to water or wash away easily. It needs scrubbing and wiping together, and warm water, to come off fabrics and hard surfaces.
Ceramic tile scratches if grit is not swept before mopping. Marble darkens with dry dust and leaves grey spots. Each needs different scrubbing and rinsing to avoid damage and actually get clean.
Water stored on the roof leaves insoluble mineral residue in baths and basins, a grey film that ordinary water does not remove. It needs safe chemical treatment suited to the surface.
East Jeddah sits furthest from the sea, so the air is dry and dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It enters through every gap and settles on surfaces and fabrics before dawn.
Dry dust needs warm water scrubbing and wiping before rinsing. We never rinse with cold water first because the dust does not release without heat and friction.
Teak, if present, needs less care here because salt is not the issue, but dust settles on it very fast and needs regular brushing.
Cabins and berths need deep cleaning for dust because it enters through every crack and window seam without stopping, unlike salt spray which is limited to external surfaces.
The galley accumulates dust more than salt here, so we focus on scrubbing and drying the stoves and work surfaces thoroughly.
The onboard washroom needs special treatment for the grey sediment from roof tank water that deposits on any wet surface and leaves a permanent stain.
Seating and cushion covers need frequent washing because dust penetrates the fabric and leaves grey spots that grow more visible with time.
Before anything is wiped, the whole exterior is rinsed to soften and float off the salt.
Cabin top, then the sides, then the deck.
The textured areas worked with a brush to lift salt and sunscreen out of the grip, where a rinse leaves it behind.
Windows and windshields cleaned and dried so the mineral spots do not just reappear as the water evaporates.
Cabins, galley and heads wiped and floors cleaned, with hatches open and air moving to pull the damp smell out rather than seal it in.
We walk the deck and cabins with you before we step off.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
A mixed district means shops at street level bring extra foot traffic, noise and dust. Street-level dust travels up into the homes above with no barrier. We need more frequent cleaning and deeper scrubbing than in purely residential areas.
The work is done at the marina, deck and cabins both.
The company runs a large workforce, and we send a team rather than one worker.
Machines and materials arrive with the team, not rented and not borrowed.
If what you need is gelcoat polishing or teak work rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not step off before you have seen the result and told us what you think.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Um Al Salam too, and more than one can share a single visit.
