We clean it where it is berthed
The work is done at the marina, deck and cabins both.

Al Sham is an old quarter with close-set stone buildings and narrow lanes where history and trade mix. Old seals, timber and paint need different handling than new surfaces, and humidity trapped between the buildings works on the hull with force.
Buildings packed close together trap salt and humidity together, and air does not move through the narrow lanes at the speed it does in open districts. For the method itself, see our yacht cleaning service in detail.
Yachts moored here may be older designs, and paint and seals have faced years of salt and damp, so they are brittle and weak. Hard scrubbing strips the paint, hot water breaks down the timber, so we use warm water and very soft brushes only.
Close-packed buildings and narrow lanes in this old quarter trap salt and moisture together, and air does not flow fast. Humidity enters cabins faster and leaves slower, so mildew and smell are constant problems here, not occasional ones.
Timber and old caulking absorb water fast, and water left standing soaks into cracks and gaps, causing leaks and rot inside. We rinse carefully, dry fast, and never leave pooled water sitting on the deck or cabin tops.
One of four historic quarters within the old walled city of Jeddah in the north of Al Balad, with heritage stone and timber buildings that mix housing and trade in a dense old-town fabric.
Buildings packed close trap salt and moisture, and gentle water rinsing followed by fast drying is essential to prevent seepage into old gaps and cracks.
Old teak and original timber on these heritage yachts need very soft brushes and warm, not hot, water, avoiding hard scrubbing that strips paint and oils.
Old cabins absorb moisture fast and release it slowly, so continuous ventilation and quick drying are vital to stop mildew and musty smell taking hold.
The old galley has heavy grease buildup on walls, and we use warm water and soft brushes to avoid breaking down the thin, tired paint.
The old washroom has weak seals and tired timber, so we rinse gently and dry immediately to prevent seepage and mildew in the gaps.
Old soft furnishings and cushions trap salt, moisture and mildew fast; we wash them gently and dry them thoroughly in sun or open air.
Before anything is wiped, the whole exterior is rinsed to soften and float off the salt.
Cabin top, then the sides, then the deck.
The textured areas worked with a brush to lift salt and sunscreen out of the grip, where a rinse leaves it behind.
Windows and windshields cleaned and dried so the mineral spots do not just reappear as the water evaporates.
Cabins, galley and heads wiped and floors cleaned, with hatches open and air moving to pull the damp smell out rather than seal it in.
We walk the deck and cabins with you before we step off.
Historic district: close-set buildings, narrow lanes and ageing services
A historic quarter means surfaces, seals and timber have weathered years of salt and damp, so they are brittle and weak, needing very gentle handling and fast drying throughout.
The work is done at the marina, deck and cabins both.
The company runs a large workforce, and we send a team rather than one worker.
Machines and materials arrive with the team, not rented and not borrowed.
If what you need is gelcoat polishing or teak work rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not step off before you have seen the result and told us what you think.
Central Jeddah is the old heart of the city: Al Balad with its coral stone houses, and the dense apartment quarters around it with shops beneath the flats. Floors here are often terrazzo or older ceramic tile, worn smooth and easily stained by cooking grease that drifts up from the street. Older kitchens and bathrooms carry heavy scale on taps and around drains, and pipework in the older blocks leaves rust marks in basins. Rugs and curtains take on the fine black dust of the main roads, so they need washing more often than elsewhere.
We provide these in Al Sham too, and more than one can share a single visit.
