We clean it where it is berthed
The work is done at the marina, deck and cabins both.

Al Bahr is an old quarter within the walled city, where yachts are berthed among heritage buildings and the old harbour. The very old timber, paint and seals need extremely careful handling, and fine black street dust settles fast on fabrics.
Narrow lanes and heritage buildings trap fine black dust and humidity together, and the air is heavy with salt and old odour. For the method itself, see our guide to yacht cleaning.
Very old heritage yachts may be ancient designs, and timber and paint have weathered centuries of salt and damp, so they are extremely brittle. Hard scrubbing strips the paint, hot water breaks down the timber, so we use only very soft brushes, warm water and great care.
Narrow old lanes trap fine black dust, and this dust settles on curtains and soft furnishings fast and is very hard to remove. Water alone is not enough, and rubbing damages old fabrics.
Near the old harbour and historic shore, humidity runs very high and salt hangs thick in the air. Moisture enters old cracks and gaps fast, and mildew and rust return fast after cleaning.
One of four historic quarters within the old walled city in the north western part toward the old harbour behind Bab Al Farda, the historic customs gate, established in the early thirteenth century Hijri, with heritage stone and timber houses in the roshan style.
Rinsing surfaces with warm water and fine black dust needs very gentle rubbing and fast drying; water alone is not enough and hard rubbing damages very old paint.
Very old heritage teak and original timber need very soft brushes, warm water only and care to avoid any rubbing, with immediate drying absolutely essential.
Heritage cabins absorb moisture fast and release it very slowly, so continuous strong ventilation and quick drying are vital to stop mildew.
The very old galley has heavy old grease buildup, and we use warm water and very soft brushes with no pressure to avoid breaking down the fragile paint.
The heritage washroom has very weak seals and deteriorating timber, so we rinse very gently, dry immediately and ventilate constantly to prevent seepage and mildew.
Very old soft furnishings gather fine black dust, moisture and mildew fast; we wash them very gently and dry thoroughly in the sun.
Before anything is wiped, the whole exterior is rinsed to soften and float off the salt.
Cabin top, then the sides, then the deck.
The textured areas worked with a brush to lift salt and sunscreen out of the grip, where a rinse leaves it behind.
Windows and windshields cleaned and dried so the mineral spots do not just reappear as the water evaporates.
Cabins, galley and heads wiped and floors cleaned, with hatches open and air moving to pull the damp smell out rather than seal it in.
We walk the deck and cabins with you before we step off.
Historic district: close-set buildings, narrow lanes and ageing services
A very old heritage quarter means every surface, seal and piece of timber is extremely brittle and weak after centuries, so it needs extremely careful handling and very fast drying always.
The work is done at the marina, deck and cabins both.
The company runs a large workforce, and we send a team rather than one worker.
Machines and materials arrive with the team, not rented and not borrowed.
If what you need is gelcoat polishing or teak work rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not step off before you have seen the result and told us what you think.
Central Jeddah is the old heart of the city: Al Balad with its coral stone houses, and the dense apartment quarters around it with shops beneath the flats. Floors here are often terrazzo or older ceramic tile, worn smooth and easily stained by cooking grease that drifts up from the street. Older kitchens and bathrooms carry heavy scale on taps and around drains, and pipework in the older blocks leaves rust marks in basins. Rugs and curtains take on the fine black dust of the main roads, so they need washing more often than elsewhere.
We provide these in Al Bahr too, and more than one can share a single visit.
