We clean it where it is berthed
The work is done at the marina, deck and cabins both.

Al Hindawiyah is an old crowded quarter beside Jeddah Islamic Port dating from the nineteenth century, with densely packed apartment buildings stacked above hundreds of shops and traditional markets. A yacht berthed here sits very close to port traffic and the old souks, exposed to concentrated sea salt, smoke and very high humidity that traps odours in every space and makes nothing dry easily once wet.
Humidity here is the highest in Jeddah, smells cling stubbornly to curtains and furnishings, and salt deposits accumulate faster than in any other neighbourhood. For the method itself, see our guide to yacht cleaning.
Proximity directly to Jeddah Islamic Port means very concentrated sea salt that deposits at a high rate. Surfaces accumulate a thick salt layer quickly, and openings and valves trap dried salt water residue that hardens fast and resists simple rinsing.
The markets and ground floor shops release smoke, meat roasting and spice odours that attach to the coastal humidity in every corner and crevice. Cabins and furnishings absorb these old market smells very quickly and thoroughly.
Damp sea air gets trapped in tight older cabins and generates musty mould smells throughout. Wood and fabric absorb salt and moisture together, making cleaning much more difficult and much longer than in other areas.
The district sits immediately adjacent to Jeddah Islamic Port and Port Street, with very high residential and commercial density and consistently elevated coastal humidity from the nearby water.
Strong fresh water rinsing to clear concentrated salt from the port, requiring multiple passes to remove the heavy salt accumulation that deposits so rapidly.
Teak requires long warm water soaking to soften trapped salt, careful gentle scrubbing to clear it from the grain, then powerful repeated rinsing to fully clear the discoloured surface.
Cabins are opened to strong ventilation and cleaned with warm fresh water, requiring extended hours of air circulation afterwards to clear trapped market smells and mould odours.
Galley areas need scrubbing and repeated rinsing to clear grease and concentrated salt together; very warm fresh water if available, with extended rinsing to cut through deposits.
Below-deck washrooms trap very high humidity and mildew simultaneously and need strong ventilation plus warm fresh water rinsing and complete drying in moving air for extended hours.
Seating and cushions need long soaking in warm fresh water, repeated washing, extensive fresh water rinsing and complete air drying in clean air far from the market and port neighbourhood.
Before anything is wiped, the whole exterior is rinsed to soften and float off the salt.
Cabin top, then the sides, then the deck.
The textured areas worked with a brush to lift salt and sunscreen out of the grip, where a rinse leaves it behind.
Windows and windshields cleaned and dried so the mineral spots do not just reappear as the water evaporates.
Cabins, galley and heads wiped and floors cleaned, with hatches open and air moving to pull the damp smell out rather than seal it in.
We walk the deck and cabins with you before we step off.
The work is done at the marina, deck and cabins both.
The company runs a large workforce, and we send a team rather than one worker.
Machines and materials arrive with the team, not rented and not borrowed.
If what you need is gelcoat polishing or teak work rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not step off before you have seen the result and told us what you think.
Al Hindawiyah lies immediately beside Jeddah Islamic Port and Port Street which frame the neighbourhood, and access to berthed yachts is negotiated through the tight lanes between the old shops that surround the district on all sides.
We provide these in Al Hindawiyah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
