We clean it where it is berthed
The work is done at the marina, deck and cabins both.

Al Yaman is an old quarter with narrow lanes and close-set stone buildings, where yachts are berthed among history and old trade. Old timber and paint need careful handling, and fine black street dust settles fast on fabrics and curtains.
Narrow streets and close-set buildings trap fine black dust, and air does not move fast so dust settles on fabrics easily. For the method itself, see how we approach yacht cleaning.
Yachts in this old quarter may be vintage designs, and timber and paint have weathered years of salt and damp, so they are brittle. Hard scrubbing strips the paint and wood breaks down, so we use very soft brushes, warm water only, and great care.
Close buildings and narrow lanes trap fine black dust from traffic, and this dust settles on curtains and soft furnishings fast and is hard to remove. Air does not flow easily here, so dust clings fast.
Trade stalls, shops and homes together create humidity, smell and cooking fumes that rise into the street. Cooking moisture, perfumes and spice smells enter cabins, and mildew and musty smell return fast.
One of four historic quarters within the old walled city of Jeddah in the south, with heritage stone and timber houses, close to Souk Al Alawi and Hassan Annani Mosque.
Rinsing surfaces with warm water and fine black dust needs very gentle rubbing and fast drying; fresh water alone is not enough and hard rubbing damages old paint.
Old teak and original timber need very soft brushes, warm water only and care to avoid rubbing, with immediate drying essential.
Old cabins need continuous ventilation to clear moisture and musty smell; ventilation matters more than hard cleaning here.
The old galley picks up humidity and fumes from shops below; we focus on ventilation and gentle cleaning rather than scrubbing.
The old washroom has weak seals and tired timber, so we rinse gently, dry fast and ventilate constantly to prevent leaks and mildew.
Old soft furnishings gather fine black dust, moisture and mildew; we wash them gently and dry thoroughly in the sun.
Before anything is wiped, the whole exterior is rinsed to soften and float off the salt.
Cabin top, then the sides, then the deck.
The textured areas worked with a brush to lift salt and sunscreen out of the grip, where a rinse leaves it behind.
Windows and windshields cleaned and dried so the mineral spots do not just reappear as the water evaporates.
Cabins, galley and heads wiped and floors cleaned, with hatches open and air moving to pull the damp smell out rather than seal it in.
We walk the deck and cabins with you before we step off.
Al Yaman sits about 0.5 km from Al Sahifah and about 0.5 km from Historic Jeddah.

The company runs a large workforce, and we send a team rather than one worker.
Machines and materials arrive with the team, not rented and not borrowed.
If what you need is gelcoat polishing or teak work rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not step off before you have seen the result and told us what you think.
Historic Al Yaman is framed by Souk Al Alawi and Hassan Annani Mosque, and access to the yacht berth runs through narrow lanes between heritage buildings. The team and equipment reach easily from Al Alawi Street, which cuts through the quarter and connects the old heart to the water.
We provide these in Al Yaman too, and more than one can share a single visit.
