We treat a villa as floors, not one big room
The stairwell, high glass and upper floors are in the job by default, not the parts left for last.

Al Bahr is one of the four historic quarters inside old walled Jeddah, established in the early thirteenth century Hijri beside the old harbour, built in coral stone and timber in the roshan style, ancient and extremely sensitive to water and salt. Moisture from the port and sea penetrates stone and timber, and salt affects everything it touches.
High moisture from the harbour and direct sea enters ancient buildings, and salt deposits on surfaces, metals and stone. Old timber swells and stone is affected by salt and water. Mould and fungus grow fast. For the method itself, see the full villa cleaning page.
Al Bahr stands on ancient porous stone and fragile timber from centuries past. Water and salt from the harbour penetrate the structure. Moisture can destroy it from within. Cleaning demands minimal water, very gentle solutions and extreme care with salt and humidity.
The sea is very near Al Bahr, and high humidity and airborne salt enter buildings easily. Salt scratches stone, timber and metals. Moisture breeds mould and fungus fast. Cleaning needs extreme care with salt.
Al Bahr sits inside the city wall, lanes are extremely tight and buildings press together. Access is difficult and large equipment cannot enter. The entry may be via Bab Al Farda and access needs special arrangement.
Al Bahr lies in the north western part of Al Balad toward the old harbour behind Bab Al Farda, the old customs gate, established in the early thirteenth century Hijri, with heritage stone and timber houses in the roshan style.
High surfaces and light fittings in an old house enclosed by walls and the harbour, with narrow tall windows needing extremely safe access and fall protection.
Old timber stairs may be extremely fragile, with ancient metal railings that rust from salt and high humidity from the port.
The kitchen in a historic home is cramped and ancient, equipment may be historical and grease may have built over decades.
Bathrooms in old Al Balad are tiny and damp with salt, with mould and fungus growing fast and potentially damaging stone and timber.
Windows in the heritage house are narrow and ancient, with timber or weak stone frames, and tracks are difficult to clean carefully.
The heritage entry may be via Bab Al Farda or an ancient gate, with the old wooden threshold needing extreme care in cleaning without damage.
Top to bottom, before anything starts, so we agree the scope on each level and what the price covers.
Rather than crowding one room, the team spreads across levels and works in parallel.
High surfaces before low, dry before wet.
Degreaser in the kitchen, descaler in every bathroom, each left to act.
The double-height glass and stair rail that ground-level cleaning never reaches, plus switches, handles and door edges throughout.
We go back through every floor with you.
Historic district: close-set buildings, narrow lanes and ageing services
A historic district means the structure is centuries old, and humidity and salt from the port and sea attack stone and timber constantly. Cleaning focuses on minimal protection and extreme care with water and salt, because any added moisture or salt may damage this historical structure.
The stairwell, high glass and upper floors are in the job by default, not the parts left for last.
The company runs several teams, so we can spread across levels and finish a villa in one visit rather than stretching it over days.
The gear for high and double-height glass arrives with the team.
If what you need is facade, pool or garden work rather than an interior clean, we tell you.

The commitment is small enough to actually keep: we do not leave until you have walked every floor and told us what you think of the result.
Central Jeddah is the old heart of the city: Al Balad with its coral stone houses, and the dense apartment quarters around it with shops beneath the flats. Floors here are often terrazzo or older ceramic tile, worn smooth and easily stained by cooking grease that drifts up from the street. Older kitchens and bathrooms carry heavy scale on taps and around drains, and pipework in the older blocks leaves rust marks in basins. Rugs and curtains take on the fine black dust of the main roads, so they need washing more often than elsewhere.
We provide these in Al Bahr too, and more than one can share a single visit.
