We clean it where it is berthed
The work is done at the marina, deck and cabins both.

Abhur North faces the Red Sea directly, and salt deposits on every yacht whether it is taken out or tied at the marina. The coastal humidity penetrates closed cabins quickly, and teak and fiberglass need different handling. A yacht anchored here needs more frequent attention than one in a sheltered creek.
Yachts moored in these waters carry a salt film that reappears within days of washing, and the light curtains in the main cabin pick up a visible salt haze within a week. For the method itself, see our yacht cleaning service in detail.
Coastal air leaves a salt film on every exterior surface and re-deposits overnight, so seawater washing increases the salt rather than removes it. Only fresh water stops the cycle, rinsed from the top down before it dries.
Closed cabins below waterline fill with humid air overnight, and mildew starts on fabric and cabin walls within days. Ventilation alone does not stop the growth, only cleaning and air circulation together prevent the smell that takes months to leave.
Wooden decking requires gentle brush work and slow rinsing to avoid grain damage, whilst the hull and fiberglass surfaces are porous and need deeper scrubbing. Mixing the methods damages one or leaves salt in the other.
The northern seafront of Jeddah sits on the north bank of Sharm Obhur, lined with villas, rest houses and resort beachfront. Salt air runs through the year and reaches every surface, above deck and below.
Fresh water rinse is the only solution to salt, and working from top to bottom prevents salt running back onto cleaned surfaces below, so timing and technique matter as much as volume.
Teak decking carries salt deep into the grain and bleaches if scrubbed hard, so gentle brush work followed by thorough rinse and rapid drying keeps the wood colour and prevents cracking.
Cabins below deck trap humidity and salt air within hours of closing, and cleaning combined with immediate ventilation and sunlight drying stops mildew spores before they take hold on fabric.
The galley suffers most from humidity and salt corrosion on metal, so cleaning and immediate drying of all metal surfaces, fittings and taps stops rust forming on the equipment you need working.
The onboard washroom sees the highest humidity of any cabin space, and deep cleaning of surfaces plus forced ventilation for several hours after reduces mould and the musty smell that builds quickly.
Outdoor cushions and seating absorb salt and humidity equally, and they need full wash and rapid drying to stay soft and prevent the stiffness that salt causes in natural fibres.
Before anything is wiped, the whole exterior is rinsed to soften and float off the salt.
Cabin top, then the sides, then the deck.
The textured areas worked with a brush to lift salt and sunscreen out of the grip, where a rinse leaves it behind.
Windows and windshields cleaned and dried so the mineral spots do not just reappear as the water evaporates.
Cabins, galley and heads wiped and floors cleaned, with hatches open and air moving to pull the damp smell out rather than seal it in.
We walk the deck and cabins with you before we step off.
Abhur North berths along North Obhur Beach and overlooks Sharm Obhur, with marinas and mooring fields distributed between the resorts and waterfront villas, making it straightforward to reach yachts scattered across the bay.
The work is done at the marina, deck and cabins both.
The company runs a large workforce, and we send a team rather than one worker.
Machines and materials arrive with the team, not rented and not borrowed.
If what you need is gelcoat polishing or teak work rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not step off before you have seen the result and told us what you think.
North Jeddah is largely newer villa districts and compounds around Obhur and inland from it. Homes here tend to have marble or porcelain floors, large windows and a garden or courtyard, so the routine is set by what comes in from outside: fine sand carried on sandals, and sprinkler spray that dries to a chalky ring on tiles. Near the creek and the coast, sea air leaves a faint salt film on glass and on outdoor cushions, which stiffens fabric. Curtains and upholstery in these open plan rooms catch the dust that settles overnight.
We provide these in Abhur North too, and more than one can share a single visit.
