The right gear for drinking water
Pumps to clear sludge, scrubbing to remove biofilm, and disinfectant meant for potable storage.

Al Sawari is a recently built northern district of owner occupied villas and apartments between King Saud Road and Prince Abdulmajeed Road. It is new, with modern tanks, but close enough to the creek and the sea that the air is humid and salt laden. Your tank sits in an environment where humidity is high all year, fine salt particles deposit on walls, and fine dust rides the coastal breeze.
Tanks in Al Sawari are relatively new but exposed to high humidity from being close to the gulf, with fine salt deposits on walls from sea air. For the method itself, see our guide to water tank cleaning.
Al Sawari is a new district with modern villas and apartments and relatively new tanks, but it is close to the gulf and the sea. Humidity from the water is much higher than in inland districts. A new tank may look clean at first, but humid air speeds up algae and fungal growth on the walls.
Gulf air carries very fine salt particles and tiny dust. These deposit on tank walls and leave a colourless thin layer. Fine coastal dust enters with the air, especially on windy days when the tank lid is opened or the seals have worn gaps.
Most villas in Al Sawari have a garden and courtyard. Sprinkler spray raises humidity around the tank, and grass and plants release moisture into the air. This speeds up algae growth on the tank walls.
A recently built northern district of owner occupied villas and apartments, lying between King Saud Road and Prince Abdulmajeed Road with Aabir Al Qarat Street crossing it, next to Taybah to the east, Al Firdaws to the south and Al Yaqut and Al Zumurrud to the west.
Inspection in Al Sawari reveals thin fine layers of salt and green algae, especially on upper walls where humidity condenses.
Full drainage removes water carrying fine salt and tiny deposits, and reveals white fine salt layers on the tank floor.
Sediment removal clears fine salt deposits, dead algae and fine dust from the sea air.
Scrubbing focuses on clearing the thin green algae layer and the fine white salt layer from the walls.
Disinfection addresses bacteria and fungi that grow quickly in a humid salty environment.
Final rinsing must be thorough and repeated to clear all fine salt and disinfectant before refilling with fresh water.
The supply into the tank is shut and the tank is drained completely.
The sludge on the floor is scooped and pumped out first.
The biofilm on the walls is physically scrubbed off.
With the walls and floor clean, a disinfectant made for drinking-water storage is applied and given time to act on every surface.
The disinfectant and any loosened residue are rinsed down and pumped out, so the first tank of water after us is not carrying it.
We check the cover seal and inlet before refilling, so dust and insects stay out, then start the refill while you watch it run clear.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
Mixed districts like Al Sawari mean family homes and diverse residential compounds with modern tanks but under pressure from coastal humidity. Inspection and disinfection must be more careful because of proximity to the sea, salt in the air, and constant moisture.

We send a team, not one person, so a tank is drained, cleaned, disinfected and refilled in a single visit rather than left open for days.
We look at the lid seal and inlet, because a tank that got dirty fast usually has a way in.
Nothing is closed until the tank is refilling and you have seen the water run clean.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until the tank is disinfected, refilling, and you have seen it for yourself.
North Jeddah is largely newer villa districts and compounds around Obhur and inland from it. Homes here tend to have marble or porcelain floors, large windows and a garden or courtyard, so the routine is set by what comes in from outside: fine sand carried on sandals, and sprinkler spray that dries to a chalky ring on tiles. Near the creek and the coast, sea air leaves a faint salt film on glass and on outdoor cushions, which stiffens fabric. Curtains and upholstery in these open plan rooms catch the dust that settles overnight.
We provide these in Al Sawari too, and more than one can share a single visit.
