We test before we treat
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.

Wadi Qaws is a valley running from the Jabal Khashash range east of Jeddah down towards the coast, historically lined with scattered houses until floods swept them away, now with a dam protecting eastern districts. The neighbouring area holds resthouses and open plots rather than dense building. Pools here may face valley humidity and clay-laden water. We test water quality first before any treatment.
Pools in Wadi Qaws often suffer high humidity and sediment from the soil, and water may come from local springs or boreholes. For the method itself, see our guide to swimming pool cleaning.
The valley holds high atmospheric moisture, and open pools absorb this humidity directly. Algae spreads rapidly on walls and filter media, and fungus appears in wet bathrooms and shaded corners. Treatment must actively stop algae and fungus spread.
Clay soil around the valley enters the water, and past floods have left fine particles in the ground. First-fill water may carry white or brown sediment. The filter needs deep pre-filtration and frequent vacuuming is essential.
Wadi Qaws is rural with resthouses, gardens and open plots; pools vary in size and location, often near trees that shed leaves into the water. Work needs flexibility and understanding of the rural environment.
A valley extending from Jabal Khashash westward through eastern Jeddah's hills, known for historical seasonal flooding, with a neighbouring area of resthouses and open ground rather than dense building, and a dam protecting eastern districts from flood risk.
We test the water first in Wadi Qaws because humidity and sediment change the entire treatment strategy from the start.
Walls carry algae and moisture, so we scrape hard and treat with strong algae-control compounds.
The floor accumulates heavy clay deposits, so we vacuum carefully and test the water afterwards.
The skimmer and baskets fill with leaves and soil, so we inspect and clear them thoroughly each visit.
The filter may need frequent backwashing because of sediment and algae load, and multiple cycles are essential.
We test chemical balance after cleaning and apply strong algae-control treatment.
pH, sanitiser and hardness are read at the start.
Floating leaves and debris come off before we brush.
Algae and the oily waterline film cling to the surfaces.
Silt settles in the deep end and the corners the return jets never reach.
The skimmer and pump baskets are cleared and the filter checked or backwashed.
With the water clean, we balance and dose, then walk the pool with you before leaving.
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.
The company runs a large crew, and we send a team rather than one person.
Pumps, vacuum heads and the test kit come with the team.
If the pump or the plumbing is the real problem, we tell you.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we don't leave until you've seen the result and had your say on it.
Wadi Qaws extends from Jabal Khashash westward into the city, and pools here sit scattered among resthouses and open ground. We navigate by Wadi Qaws Dam, which marks the area, or by Al Qaws Street that runs through the district, and Jabal Khashash nearby helps with orientation.
We provide these in Wadi Qaws too, and more than one can share a single visit.
