We test before we degrease
Testing the solution on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

South Jeddah kitchens are sandwiched between the sea and the heavy freight corridors. Black diesel soot from trucks seeps in through every gap and binds to cooking grease, forming a sticky black film that ordinary cleaning cannot touch. Prince Fawaz South sits directly beside the Haramain Road and the Jeddah Makkah Expressway. A kitchen here is not an aesthetic choice but a health necessity.
Black diesel soot deposits on every kitchen surface here faster than in inland areas and adheres harder, requiring forceful degreasing to remove. For the method itself, see our guide to kitchen cleaning.
Trucks on the expressway send microscopic soot particles into the air. These do not settle innocently on surfaces. They mingle with cooking grease and harden into a black, sticky compound. Standard degreasers struggle with this mixture. The product needs to be stronger and the process longer than kitchens inland require.
Moist air from the sea makes soot particles heavier and more adhesive. They penetrate deeper into the pores of paint, tile and stone. The humidity also helps the soot stick harder. Removal requires a powerful degreaser and extended contact time.
Many buildings under the freight routes are low and older. Floors are plain cement or old ceramic tile, both porous materials that soak up soot. Soot absorbed into cement goes deep and cannot be brushed away. The degreaser must soak the material to reach it.
Prince Fawaz South is a densely built residential extension of south Jeddah between the Haramain Road and the Jeddah Makkah Expressway, with apartment buildings and villas crossed by an open stormwater channel, surrounded by heavy goods traffic on all sides.
Cabinets and work surfaces carry sticky black soot that water alone will not remove. A powerful degreaser and extended soaking time are needed.
The extractor hood filter is blackened by soot and grease together. It may need replacement if cleaning cannot restore it to near white.
The hob and splash tile behind it are stained black by soot and grease. Grout between tiles absorbs soot deep inside and requires a product that penetrates.
Tile grout is porous and absorbs soot throughout its depth. Surface wiping will not reach it. Soaking with a strong degreaser is needed to pull out the deep deposits.
Sink and mixer show black soot stains around the drain and the seams. Cleaning requires a strong product and gentle scrubbing to avoid scratching.
Floor is old ceramic tile or plain cement that darkens easily with soot. We treat it with a strong product first, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Painted cabinets, laminate, natural stone and stainless steel do not take the same degreaser.
We start high, the tops of cabinets and the hood, and work down to the floor.
The degreaser is put on the heavy areas and given time to break the oil down before it is wiped.
The metal filter carries the worst of the grease and is soaked and worked on its own, not just wiped in place, because a clogged filter puts the oil straight back into the air.
The burners, the tiled splash and the grout lines take focused work, since the grout darkens first and a flat wipe passes over it.
We go over the kitchen with you before the team leaves.
Prince Fawaz South sits about 1 km from Prince Fawaz North and about 1 km from Al Shifa.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The degreasers and tools come with the team.
If what the kitchen needs is a repair or pest treatment rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
South Jeddah runs from the port and the industrial city down towards Al Khumrah, and homes here sit between the sea and the heavy goods roads. The dust is darker and oilier than in the north, a mix of diesel soot and workshop grit, and it clings to net curtains, window sills and the tops of kitchen cupboards. Floors in the older low rise housing are often plain cement or ceramic tile that darkens where soot is walked in. Humidity from the coast adds mildew in bathrooms and a musty smell in stored fabrics.
We provide these in Prince Fawaz South too, and more than one can share a single visit.
