We test before we degrease
Testing the solution on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Muruj is a new subdivision in north Jeddah with land still under construction and vacant plots between the new homes, so the kitchens are bright and brand new. The problem is the raw dust from the ongoing building work around the district comes in through every opening and settles on the grease, turning cabinets and cookers grey instead of white or brown. The dust is not fine like street dust but raw and heavy from excavations.
Construction dust from excavation and foundation work makes kitchens in Al Muruj get dirty faster than new kitchens in completed districts, and the grease takes on the grey colour of the dust. For the method itself, see our guide to kitchen cleaning.
The vacant land surrounding the district remains under active construction, so raw dust from excavation and material transport reaches new kitchens and catches on the grease, forming a grey composite layer that is hard to shift.
The new kitchens here are bright and glossy with glass tops and shiny finishes, but construction dust settles on them quickly and the grease traps it, turning white surfaces grey and dulling the gloss.
New ceramic and marble floors are glossy and smooth, so dust and grease show up clearly on them and need more frequent cleaning than floors in completed districts where dust is finer and less obvious.
The district is surrounded by vacant and developing land with active building work, so raw dust from foundations and construction reaches the kitchens more than any other established area.
New cabinet fronts are glossy but construction dust turns them grey, and grease traps the dust and makes them darker and harder to clean.
The new hood and filter clog quickly from construction dust mixed with grease, so filter replacement cycles are shorter than in established districts.
New oven and hob are glossy but construction dust makes them grey, and grease and dust together need patience for the degreaser to work.
Tiles behind the hob are new and glossy, so grey marks from construction dust show clearly and regular cleaning is needed before the layer gets thick.
Sink and tap are new and glossy and dust and grease show on them instantly, so a gentle product on new finishes is part of the care.
New ceramic floors are glossy and smooth so dust and grease show instantly, and regular cleaning keeps the gloss from dulling.
Painted cabinets, laminate, natural stone and stainless steel do not take the same degreaser.
We start high, the tops of cabinets and the hood, and work down to the floor.
The degreaser is put on the heavy areas and given time to break the oil down before it is wiped.
The metal filter carries the worst of the grease and is soaked and worked on its own, not just wiped in place, because a clogged filter puts the oil straight back into the air.
The burners, the tiled splash and the grout lines take focused work, since the grout darkens first and a flat wipe passes over it.
We go over the kitchen with you before the team leaves.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The degreasers and tools come with the team.
If what the kitchen needs is a repair or pest treatment rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
New development: ongoing construction and vacant plots between the homes
A new development means active construction and foundations continue around the kitchen, so excavation dust and raw materials mix with grease more than in any other district, making regular cleaning necessary before building work finishes.
We provide these in Al Muruj too, and more than one can share a single visit.
