We treat the incense, not mask it
Bakhoor residue is cleaned out of the seating and curtains and off the walls, so fresh oud is not sitting on months of old smoke.

Al Rahmah is a developing district where villas rise among vacant plots, and dust from ongoing construction settles quickly onto the majlis. Humidity drifting from the nearby coast accelerates mould formation in corners and guest bathrooms. Majlis preparation here begins with removing the fine layers of construction dust before any other step takes hold.
Construction dust returns rapidly after cleaning in Al Rahmah, and new flooring carries fine building-edge particles that scratch easily if not cleaned with care at every stage. For the method itself, see what majlis and diwaniya cleaning involves.
The active building projects surrounding Al Rahmah release fine dust continuously that settles on curtains, fabrics and all horizontal surfaces. This is not ordinary city dust: fine particles of cement and sand cling to the moisture in the air and leave a grey layer that resists simple wiping. Majlis preparation here requires deep vacuuming before any surface cleaning can begin, and the method changes because of the coating.
Newly built villas in Al Rahmah have glossy marble or ceramic floors, and fine building dust scratches them easily. Construction dust mixed with moisture becomes a gritty paste that scours the surface. Cleaning must remove the dust completely without abrading, using techniques suited to virgin flooring and the caution that comes with protecting an investment not yet a year old.
Proximity to the coast means high air humidity, and the guest bathroom attached to the majlis becomes an ideal environment for mould growth. Lower wall corners and areas around windows show faint moisture marks. Treating this humidity requires powerful ventilation and complete drying after cleaning, not a quick wipe and a close of the door.
Al Rahmah sits on flat land set back from the coast, yet the damp air flowing from the sea affects every fabric and enclosed corner. Internal streets are still at various stages of completion, and building sites surround the neighbourhood.
Ceilings and high corners hold a grey layer of fine construction dust that requires strong vacuuming followed by careful damp wiping to avoid simply redistributing the particles elsewhere in the room.
Surfaces and furniture in Al Rahmah gather construction dust rapidly because the particles are fine and stick to air moisture, so we dry-dust first then wipe with filtered water to capture what remains.
Glass and mirrors carry a damp haze of construction dust that dulls the shine, and cleaning them requires specialised polishing after the dust layer has been removed by vacuum and gentle wipe.
The new flooring in Al Rahmah needs special care because fine building-edge particles scratch easily, so we use gentle vacuuming and drying methods rather than abrasive contact techniques that would damage virgin material.
The guest bathroom attached shows faint moisture marks and early mould growth, so we focus on complete drying and forced ventilation after cleaning to prevent rapid return of the damp smell.
Airing the majlis after preparation is essential to remove construction moisture and the faint mould smell, so we open windows wide and run fans if needed to exchange the damp air completely.
Seating, carpet, curtains and surfaces, before anything starts, so we agree the scope and what the price covers.
Majlis seating and curtains vary from cotton to velvet and heavy weaves, and they do not take the same heat or product.
Before any water, on the seating and the carpet both.
Gahwa, cardamom and food are not one problem.
We choose the method after seeing each piece, loosen what has bound into the seating and carpet, and extraction pulls it straight back out with the water, in one pass, so nothing is left soaking in the foam.
We go back through the room with you.
New development: ongoing construction and vacant plots between the homes
A new-development area means active construction and vacant plots sit immediately adjacent to the homes.
Bakhoor residue is cleaned out of the seating and curtains and off the walls, so fresh oud is not sitting on months of old smoke.
We test the fabric on a hidden spot before we clean it.
The company runs several teams, and we send a team rather than one person.
If the seating needs reupholstering rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is small enough to actually keep: we do not leave until you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
South Jeddah runs from the port and the industrial city down towards Al Khumrah, and homes here sit between the sea and the heavy goods roads. The dust is darker and oilier than in the north, a mix of diesel soot and workshop grit, and it clings to net curtains, window sills and the tops of kitchen cupboards. Floors in the older low rise housing are often plain cement or ceramic tile that darkens where soot is walked in. Humidity from the coast adds mildew in bathrooms and a musty smell in stored fabrics.
We provide these in Al Rahmah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
