We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Wafa is a small mixed residential district in east Jeddah near the University of Jeddah road and stadium, positioned in a dry inland region far from the sea and close to open ground and hills beyond the ring roads. Curtain cleaning here faces specific challenges: the air is drier, dust is coarser and paler than coastal dust, seeping in under doors and settling on every surface before dawn.
East Jeddah is furthest from the sea and closest to open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. For the method itself, see our guide to curtain cleaning.
The dry air in east Jeddah and nearby open land send coarse dust paler than coastal dust. This dust seeps under doors and windows easily and settles on curtains more rapidly. Curtains often turn a faint pale colour from dust accumulation rather than staining.
The extremely dry air may dry fabrics too quickly after cleaning, potentially leaving fine salt traces on cloth. We need controlled drying and repeated rinsing to remove mineral deposits and residue without fibre stress.
Water sediment from roof tanks leaves a grey mineral film in baths and basins. Curtains near ventilation windows may hold sediment from this water. Sediment treatment needs strong dry vacuum and moderate washing to lift deposits without damaging delicate cloth.
A residential district within Taibah sub-municipality in east Jeddah toward Asfan, one of a cluster of small neighbouring quarters with simple residential character, close to the University of Jeddah road and stadium.
Curtains in Al Wafa accumulate coarse pale dust from open ground and hills, so we inspect each fabric for deep dust and mineral deposits from old water.
Removal is straightforward in most units because apartments are simple with standard ceilings, though some houses may have narrow windows so we plan for available space.
Dry vacuum is strong for coarse dust that may be driven deep into fibres, we begin with moderate vacuum then increase if dust is deeply settled.
Stains are rare but white or grey mineral deposits may appear and are treated with repeated rinsing rather than scrubbing. Pale dust may leave light marks treated with light spot work.
Cleaning method prioritises removing coarse dust first then mineral residue. We use repeated cool water rinsing to remove scale without rubbing delicate fabric.
Drying needs careful control because very dry air may dry fabrics unevenly and fast. We advise against opening windows to direct sun and may need 36 to 48 hours.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
Al Wafa in inland east Jeddah means every curtain suffers coarse dry dust rather than salt and humidity. Dry air, heavy dust and old water sediment make every cleaning distinct from coastal districts.
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Al Wafa too, and more than one can share a single visit.
