We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Tilal is a residential quarter on elevated broken terrain in east Jeddah, close to Mareekh Mountains and Wadi Al Qaws, and mixed with ground floor shops. Air here differs markedly: altitude means stronger winds carry fine dust from valleys and hills, and humidity swings between seasons. Curtains collect mountain dust and seasonal dryness together, and may suffer unexpected humidity spikes in certain months when cold air sinks into the nearby wadi at night.
Winds at this elevation are noticeably stronger and carry fine dust upward from the valleys and hills in ways that differ from flat inland districts. For the method itself, see what curtain cleaning involves.
Al Tilal sits at elevation and winds here are stronger. Dust from Mareekh and Wadi Al Qaws climbs rapidly and enters curtains with force. Dust here is very fine and sharp, embedding deep in the weave where it clings.
At elevation, humidity swings dramatically between seasons. Some months it is notably high, others very dry. Curtains may need treatment adjusted by season and current humidity, not one fixed approach all year.
Wadi Al Qaws is close and valleys trap cold moist air that sinks downward after dark. This may mean curtains stay damper than expected overnight and take longer to dry than they would on flat ground.
A residential district on elevated terrain in east Jeddah near Mareekh Mountains and Wadi Al Qaws, mixed residential and commercial activity, small quarters with simple character.
Fabrics on Al Tilal are varied but all suffer fine sharp mountain dust. Fabric inspection is essential to identify product suited to the type.
Removal is handled carefully since fine dust may irritate eyes. Windows may be smaller at elevation because winds are strong.
Dry vacuum is vigorous to dislodge fine dust, followed by strong continuous suction. Mountain dust falls in visible amounts and may take time.
Fine sharp dust is treated by extended soaking in warm water with product that releases particles from the weave. Additional soaking may be needed.
Cleaning is done by spray, soak and repeated rinsing cycles. Mountain dust may need longer treatment than street dust.
Drying depends on season. In dry months it is swift, in humid months fans and dry air may be needed to speed the process.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
Mixed at altitude on Al Tilal means shops below flats at elevation with strong updrafts. Mountain dust is the primary concern, not salt or oils, and seasonal humidity swings differ markedly from flat neighbourhoods.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Al Tilal is identified by its name which refers to the hilly terrain, and by Mareekh Mountains in the background and Wadi Al Qaws nearby which define the geography, and work is coordinated using elevation references and wind exposure patterns.
We provide these in Al Tilal too, and more than one can share a single visit.
