We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Taawun is a new district on Jeddah's southern fringe near Al Khumrah, with scattered building, vacant land and new flats, and the sea is close enough that humidity is always present. Dust here is dual: heavy construction dust from digging and mixing equipment, and diesel soot from main roads and heavy trucks passing constantly. New curtains blacken quickly and humidity traps odours deeply. This unique combination of factors differs markedly from completed neighbourhoods and pure coastal areas.
Dust here is a heavy mix of construction dust and truck soot, darker and more stubborn than in eastern quarters and resistant to removal. For the method itself, see the full curtain cleaning page.
Al Taawun is a growth district and building continues around homes. Excavation and concrete mixing raise mineral-heavy dust. Al Laith Road and main routes pump black truck soot continuously. The combination of building and soot blackens curtains at record speed.
Al Taawun is closer to the sea than eastern quarters and humidity is constant. Soot and oil combined with moisture create heavy odours and mildew risk if curtains do not dry swiftly.
Flats are new and curtains are new, but building around the homes means curtains blacken before they fully cure. New flats in a growth district need more frequent cleaning than flats in completed areas.
A new development on Jeddah's southern edge near Al Khumrah, new housing schemes and vacant plots with scattered building, close to Al Laith Road and the road to University of Jeddah.
Fabrics in Al Taawun are often new, and modern fabrics may be sensitive to harsh products. Fabric inspection is essential before using any strong product.
Removal from new windows and new rails requires care. Construction dust may fall during removal, so respiratory protection and eye care are needed.
Dry vacuum is vigorous to clear construction dust and surface soot, then suction is intense. Large amounts of heavy black dust will fall.
Soot and construction dust are treated with strong degreasing product before warm water. Heavy marks may need spot treatment or additional soaking.
Cleaning is done with warm water and strong but fabric-safe product. Rinsing is repeated because soot and construction dust demand complete removal.
Drying may take longer than in other areas due to persistent humidity. Strong fans and dry air are essential to prevent odour development from damp soot residue.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.
Al Taawun is identified by Al Laith Road forming its southern boundary and by Rawdat Al Taawun housing scheme at its centre, and work is coordinated using the development plan and ongoing construction activity around each flat.
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
South Jeddah runs from the port and the industrial city down towards Al Khumrah, and homes here sit between the sea and the heavy goods roads. The dust is darker and oilier than in the north, a mix of diesel soot and workshop grit, and it clings to net curtains, window sills and the tops of kitchen cupboards. Floors in the older low rise housing are often plain cement or ceramic tile that darkens where soot is walked in. Humidity from the coast adds mildew in bathrooms and a musty smell in stored fabrics.
We provide these in Al Taawun too, and more than one can share a single visit.
