We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Rayyan is a district of new apartment blocks and some villas east of the Haramain expressway, between the air base bridge and Al Kawthar, with Umm Hablain to the east and Briman to the south. The Al Thuraya and Al Sultan schemes fill it, built on a wide street grid with ongoing drainage and sewerage works.
Dry coarse dust settles on every surface rapidly in Al Rayyan, and curtains accumulate more than in other districts because air circulation is higher and carries dust constantly from the inland plateau. For the method itself, see the full curtain cleaning page.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring road. Air is drier here and dust is much coarser and paler than on the coast. It finds its way under doors and settles on every flat surface within hours.
Curtains here accumulate dust faster than anywhere else and become visibly heavier than rugs or furniture. The dust builds up quickly on flat surfaces and in the folds, and the curtain traps more than surrounding fabrics.
Water from roof tanks leaves grey sediment deposits in sinks and basins. Incomplete drainage and sewerage installation nearby can mean stagnant damp in lower flats, adding musty smell to fabrics.
Al Rayyan lies east of the Haramain expressway between the air base bridge and Al Kawthar, with Umm Hablain to its east and Briman to its south. The Al Thuraya and Al Sultan schemes make up most of it, built largely as apartment blocks with some villas on a wide street grid.
Curtains in the new apartment blocks and villas are modern fabrics on modern rails, but coarse dust is a different problem. Fabric testing determines the safe cleaning method.
Removal from modern rails is straightforward, but dust may be trapped in mechanisms and pulleys. Pre-cleaning the rail before removal may be needed.
Coarse dust taps out vigorously but requires care to avoid scratching. Gentle tapping followed by strong vacuum removes it safely.
Sand and coarse dust may need additional rinsing before the main wash to prevent re-deposition.
Modern fabrics tolerate water well, but fluctuation between dry and damp can cause slight shrinkage.
Rehang includes cleaning mechanisms and rails of trapped dust, and checking that seal gaps are not admitting excessive new dust.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.
Al Rayyan is located east of the Haramain expressway between the Air Base Bridge and Al Rayyan Health Centre, with Uqbah ibn Nafi Mosque nearby. These landmarks position the district precisely within the parallel street running beside the expressway.

We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Al Rayyan too, and more than one can share a single visit.
