We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Naseem is a mixed central district between Prince Majid Road and Haramain Road, filled with older apartments, villas and busy commercial streets. Curtains here hold fine black dust from major traffic routes and cooking fumes that rise from the street below. Cleaning is harder than in new areas because the dust has settled for years and bonds with cooking grease.
Curtains in the central district carry heavy black deposits built up over years. Dust does not come out by vacuuming alone because it sticks to cooking oils and grease. Even modern fabrics need strong rinsing here. For the method itself, see what curtain cleaning involves.
Prince Majid Road and Haramain Road are choked with traffic. Fine black dust rises in heat waves from the tarmac. Curtains trap it in folds for years, and each wind carries it deeper. Strong dry vacuum removes most of it from the surface, then warm water soaking extracts what remains trapped in the weave.
Commercial streets below have restaurants, cafes and bakeries. Greasy vapour rises constantly. Curtains absorb it and layer it with black dust, turning grey and heavy. Hot water washing with heavy duty detergent breaks both the grease and dust apart simultaneously.
Old pipework in central districts leaves white scale on taps and lines on curtains. These deposits carry heavy mineral salts. Soaking in slightly acidic water dissolves the scale without damaging old fabric that may be fragile from years of exposure.
Central Jeddah is the old heart of the city where main roads are choked with traffic and commercial streets are densely packed, so the air carries fine black dust from the tarmac and vehicle exhausts.
Older fabrics in central flats are stronger than modern ones but need testing to confirm they survive hot water washing combined with heavy dust and grease.
Removal must be gentle because old fixtures may be corroded or brittle after years of exposure to moisture and dust.
Strong dry vacuum pulls heavy black dust from the folds before any water touches the fabric, reducing the moisture needed for washing.
Grease and bonded dust stains need extended soaking first, then very light rubbing to avoid damaging thread that may be weakened by age.
Water temperature varies here: warm for fragile old fabrics, slightly hotter for sturdy ones that are very soiled, never scalding either way.
Drying takes longer here because moisture from heavy washing needs good airflow in older flats that have poor natural ventilation.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
Flats in the old central district sit below main roads and busy commercial streets, so curtains carry heavy black deposits mixed with food grease. Cleaning here is not simply removing dust but breaking down years of accumulated pollutants that have bonded with the weave.
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Central Jeddah is the old heart of the city: Al Balad with its coral stone houses, and the dense apartment quarters around it with shops beneath the flats. Floors here are often terrazzo or older ceramic tile, worn smooth and easily stained by cooking grease that drifts up from the street. Older kitchens and bathrooms carry heavy scale on taps and around drains, and pipework in the older blocks leaves rust marks in basins. Rugs and curtains take on the fine black dust of the main roads, so they need washing more often than elsewhere.
We provide these in Al Naseem too, and more than one can share a single visit.
