The access to reach it safely
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.

Kinanah is a small district in the Mareekh Mountains east of Jeddah, with scattered homes and trees, and valleys nearby. Open ground and mountains around the area raise fine brown dust, and the fixture soils quickly with dust. Ceilings are relatively low and spaces are tight, so the team works with great care to avoid damaging furniture and walls.
Brown dust from the mountains enters the home directly through windows, and the district is rural so traffic is light. But the natural landscape releases dust in the dry season and at wind. For the method itself, see the full chandelier cleaning page.
Mareekh Mountains are surrounded by vacant ground that raises fine brown dust. Air carries particles from the hills, and the fixture soils quickly with this fine dust. Washing needs care because loose dust particles cling to crystal surfaces.
Rural homes are simpler with relatively low ceilings. The team must be careful not to hit their head and must protect furniture, and work is slower in tight spaces where movement is constrained.
The district is rural and far from commercial shops, so cooking grease is light. The fixture soils more from brown dust than from grease, and cleaning is simpler than in commercial mixed districts.
A small residential district in the hilly zone east of Jeddah, with scattered homes among hills and valleys, surrounded by much vacant ground.
Quick inspection of the fixture shows fine brown dust from the mountains. Wiring may be old and undocumented, so we check carefully before work begins.
Power is cut at the main breaker with care because documentation may not be clear. Correct circuit identification is confirmed before disconnection.
Photographs before dismantling document the brown dust. Tight space means photographs come from limited angles, and they are detailed and precise.
Each piece is washed first in cool water to remove brown dust. Soaking is brief because cooking grease is light here.
Frame and arms are cleaned carefully of dust, and furniture around the fixture is fully protected from any drips.
Refitting is slow because space is tight and ceiling low. Lights are tested carefully and viewed from limited angles in the confined space.
The circuit is switched off before anything is touched, and warm bulbs are given time to cool.
We check how it is built, which crystals are loose, and how it comes apart before removing a thing.
The area under the fixture is covered before we start, so a dropped crystal lands soft and nothing marks the floor or table below.
Where the piece allows, crystals come off and are washed and dried individually.
With the crystals off or aside, the frame, arms, bulb holders and ceiling mount are wiped down, since that is where film and webs hide behind the glass.
Every crystal goes back to its place, the fixture is switched on and checked, and we walk the room with you.
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.
We send a team, not one person, so crystals come off, get washed and go back in one visit, without a lone worker hurrying a fragile piece to finish before dark.
Whether crystals come off or are cleaned in place depends on how the fixture is built.
Nothing is done until the fixture is back together, switched on, and you have seen it throw its light.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until the fixture is reassembled, lit, and you have seen it for yourself.
Our work in Kinanah spreads around Mareekh Mountains and Wadi Al Qaws in east Jeddah, with scattered homes throughout the small district. Access comes via one main route and secondary roads may be unmade, so the team arrives early and allows time for the rural location.
We provide these in Kinanah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
