The access to reach it safely
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.

Al Shorouq is a modern east Jeddah district between Al Haramain Road and the older Al Wahah and Al Tawfiq neighbourhoods, a mix of apartment blocks, villas and small retail premises on newly planned streets. Chandeliers here exist in an environment drier than the coast, where the air is coarser and paler and dust arrives from the surrounding hills and roads rather than from sea spray. Newer residential subdivisions are developing nearby around the Al Nakhil area.
Dust here is paler than coastal dust and carries no sea salt. It comes from the surrounding hills and open ground. For the method itself, see how we approach chandelier cleaning.
Al Shorouq sits away from the sea and dust comes from surrounding hills and open ground. The dust is dry, pale in colour and free of sea salt. Particles are relatively coarse but dry. Cleaning removes this dust easily because it does not adhere through grease or salt moisture.
Al Shorouq is well-planned but surrounded by brand new residential subdivisions. Building and development activity may be ongoing. This means extra dust from workshop and construction sites. Once construction ends and roads are paved, dust levels will drop significantly.
Al Shorouq is drier than the coast, so humidity is lower and cleaning results may hold longer between visits. But roof tank sediment may leave a grey film in drains and sinks. Water quality may sometimes be cloudy, which may affect floors and fixtures. We bring clean water for washing the chandelier.
Al Shorouq lies east of the Haramain Road between Al Wahah and Al Tawfiq, a mix of apartment buildings, villas and small shops on modern streets. Palestine Road runs through it and the King Abdullah branch road bounds it to the south. Newer residential subdivisions are adjacent to Al Nakhil.
Initial inspection focuses on dust type and any building debris, and the condition of crystal and metalwork. Coarse dust may leave tiny marks.
Power is cut and testing is done. Newer homes usually have safe wiring but we verify every time.
Layout photography documents the condition, dust pattern and arrangement. Each villa or flat requires proper documentation.
Washing uses clean separate water distinct from tap water if the house water is cloudy. Dry dust is easy to remove.
Frame and arms are cleaned gently of dust. Electrical connection points are checked for sediment or dust inside.
Reassembly and testing are precise. The dryness here is helpful as drying happens quickly before power restoration.
The circuit is switched off before anything is touched, and warm bulbs are given time to cool.
We check how it is built, which crystals are loose, and how it comes apart before removing a thing.
The area under the fixture is covered before we start, so a dropped crystal lands soft and nothing marks the floor or table below.
Where the piece allows, crystals come off and are washed and dried individually.
With the crystals off or aside, the frame, arms, bulb holders and ceiling mount are wiped down, since that is where film and webs hide behind the glass.
Every crystal goes back to its place, the fixture is switched on and checked, and we walk the room with you.
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.
We send a team, not one person, so crystals come off, get washed and go back in one visit, without a lone worker hurrying a fragile piece to finish before dark.
Whether crystals come off or are cleaned in place depends on how the fixture is built.
Nothing is done until the fixture is back together, switched on, and you have seen it throw its light.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until the fixture is reassembled, lit, and you have seen it for yourself.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Al Shorouq too, and more than one can share a single visit.
