The access to reach it safely
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.

Al Mulaisa is a newly developing district south of Jeddah along Al Lith Road, mostly vacant plots with building only just beginning. Dust here is cement and gravel from nearby construction sites. Chandeliers in brand new villas collect this heavy dust fast. Ceilings are high and homes are often empty when purchased, so moisture enters through open windows and makes dust stick harder to glass.
Construction dust is heavy and adhesive. It makes a brand new chandelier look old very fast. Moisture in empty new homes makes dust stick harder to surfaces. Open windows in hot weather allow construction grit to enter quickly and coat everything. For the method itself, see our guide to chandelier cleaning.
Active building sites around the district release cement and coarse gravel dust. This dust does not deposit like coastal salt but is heavier and harder to remove. A brand new chandelier becomes clouded by this dust quickly. Cleaning needs strong solutions and deep washing of every piece, not simple polishing.
New villas are often unoccupied when purchased. Moisture from poor ventilation and open windows in hot weather raises humidity indoors. Dust sticks much harder in moisture. The chandelier here may need longer drying and extra protection against fine corrosion because moisture wakes metals.
In developing districts power circuits are often still being completed. Wiring may be temporary or not fully protected yet. Checking power carefully before dismantling is essential. Work needs extra caution and we may decline if power is unsafe until a qualified electrician certifies it.
Al Mulaisa is an emerging district in south Jeddah stretching along Al Lith Road, made up mostly of subdivided residential plots without completed homes, with construction in its early stages and many plots still vacant.
Inspecting the new chandelier means checking the finish and metals carefully. Construction dust may already be embedded. We assess cleaning depth based on how much building is still active around the villa.
Cutting power includes thorough checking first because new wiring may not yet be fully tested. We verify every connection.
We photograph the layout and watch for any joint weakness that building vibrations may have caused.
Each piece is washed gently in filtered water. Cement dust needs specialist solutions. Hard rubbing is forbidden because new plating scratches easily.
Frame and arms are wiped carefully with solutions safe on new finishes. New metals need extra protection after cleaning.
Reassembly requires full power checking and testing. Lighting should be even across all angles. Every piece is verified as secure and correctly positioned.
The circuit is switched off before anything is touched, and warm bulbs are given time to cool.
We check how it is built, which crystals are loose, and how it comes apart before removing a thing.
The area under the fixture is covered before we start, so a dropped crystal lands soft and nothing marks the floor or table below.
Where the piece allows, crystals come off and are washed and dried individually.
With the crystals off or aside, the frame, arms, bulb holders and ceiling mount are wiped down, since that is where film and webs hide behind the glass.
Every crystal goes back to its place, the fixture is switched on and checked, and we walk the room with you.
New development: ongoing construction and vacant plots between the homes
New development areas raise complexity significantly: construction dust is heavy and power circuits may not yet be complete. Every cleaning must include full safety inspection, careful handling of new finishes, and we may refuse the work if power is unsafe until a qualified electrician certifies it.
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.
We send a team, not one person, so crystals come off, get washed and go back in one visit, without a lone worker hurrying a fragile piece to finish before dark.
Whether crystals come off or are cleaned in place depends on how the fixture is built.
Nothing is done until the fixture is back together, switched on, and you have seen it throw its light.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until the fixture is reassembled, lit, and you have seen it for yourself.
Chandeliers in Al Mulaisa sit in a developing district along Al Lith Road, the corridor shared with neighbouring subdivisions. Reaching villas requires navigation of new and incomplete streets, and work is coordinated with the ongoing construction schedule throughout the area.
We provide these in Al Mulaisa too, and more than one can share a single visit.
