The access to reach it safely
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.

Al Kawthar is a young district in east Jeddah near King Abdulaziz International Airport, with new villas and apartment buildings on wide streets near Prince Khalid bin Abdullah Road. Building has been rapid and streets are modern, though some roads have been disrupted by ongoing drainage and sewage projects. Chandeliers here hang in contemporary new homes and need regular cleaning from construction dust and the effects of infrastructure work happening around the district.
New chandeliers here accumulate dust from ongoing construction and street disruption from drainage and sewage works, and may need more frequent cleaning until the streets settle and projects complete. For the method itself, see our guide to chandelier cleaning.
Al Kawthar has seen very rapid construction; streets are wide but some are disrupted by sewage and drainage projects not yet finished. Dust and earth from these works settle on chandeliers quickly. Cleaning every two to two and a half months is necessary in the early stages.
Al Kawthar holds recently released villas and apartment blocks built close to each other. Chandeliers hang in spacious living and dining rooms, with modern fixings and safe contemporary wiring. Access and the work are relatively straightforward compared with older districts.
Closeness to the airport means finer dust from aircraft and heavy truck traffic. Vibration from aircraft movements may cause slight fixture movement over time. Regular cleaning removes dust before it builds into a thick stubborn layer.
Positioned east of King Abdulaziz International Airport with Al Hamdaniyah to the north and Al Rayyan to the south, rapid building has produced new villas and apartment blocks on a wide street grid near Prince Khalid bin Abdullah Road, with sewage and drainage projects still underway on some streets.
Chandeliers in Al Kawthar are usually contemporary in design and recent in installation, so we inspect them quickly and choose a modern and effective cleaning approach without unnecessary complexity.
Before we cut power, we check the breaker and wiring. Modern wiring is usually safe, but we always inspect to confirm complete safety.
We photograph the fixture from multiple angles before dismantling, especially if it is an expensive or high-value piece.
Each piece is washed in warm water with appropriate gentle cleaner, removing dust and earth carefully without abrasive methods.
The frame and arms are cleaned of dust and earth, then inspected to confirm no scratching or damage has occurred.
After complete reassembly, we power the fixture on and confirm all bulbs light evenly and no faults remain.
The circuit is switched off before anything is touched, and warm bulbs are given time to cool.
We check how it is built, which crystals are loose, and how it comes apart before removing a thing.
The area under the fixture is covered before we start, so a dropped crystal lands soft and nothing marks the floor or table below.
Where the piece allows, crystals come off and are washed and dried individually.
With the crystals off or aside, the frame, arms, bulb holders and ceiling mount are wiped down, since that is where film and webs hide behind the glass.
Every crystal goes back to its place, the fixture is switched on and checked, and we walk the room with you.
Al Kawthar sits about 3 km from Al Hamdaniyah and about 4 km from Um Hablain West.

We send a team, not one person, so crystals come off, get washed and go back in one visit, without a lone worker hurrying a fragile piece to finish before dark.
Whether crystals come off or are cleaned in place depends on how the fixture is built.
Nothing is done until the fixture is back together, switched on, and you have seen it throw its light.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until the fixture is reassembled, lit, and you have seen it for yourself.
Al Kawthar is positioned near Prince Khalid bin Abdullah Road to the west, and Al Masurah Street runs through the district. Al Mubashirin Mosque and Uqbah ibn Nafi Mosque are nearby landmarks that help us locate individual homes and buildings and navigate quickly to scattered properties.
We provide these in Al Kawthar too, and more than one can share a single visit.
