We test before we clean
Testing the material on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Tawfeeq is a small residential district on the eastern fringe of Jeddah near the University Stadium and Asfan Road. The air is drier here and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. Grit slides in under doors and settles on every surface before dawn. Carpet carries coarse sand that scratches the flooring, and sofas, mattresses and curtains become heavy with dust accumulation. This is not a coastal cleaning challenge; it is a dry-air, fine-grit challenge.
Dust in Al Tawfeeq is coarser and grittier than coastal dust. Fine gravel enters on shoes and must be extracted before water is applied, or it will be pushed deeper into the pile and scratch the new flooring. For the method itself, see our guide to carpet and rug cleaning.
Desert air carries fine dust and small gravel. Without humidity to weight it, both slip under door frames and accumulate on carpet before dawn. Carpet near the entry bears the heaviest load and floors beside it risk scratching from the grit.
Villas in Al Tawfeeq have outdoor spaces. Sand enters on shoes and clothes. Deep dry vacuuming removes the gravel before any water touches the pile, or the sharp grit will scratch new marble and porcelain floors.
Coarse dry dust does not settle gently on carpet alone. Soft furnishings trap heavy dust from weeks of accumulation. Upholstered items become the heaviest part of the indoor cleaning routine in dry climates.
A small residential district within the Taibah sub-municipality area of east Jeddah toward Asfan, close to University of Jeddah Road and its stadium, mixing older popular housing with newer residential blocks.
Budget and mid-range carpet fills most homes here. The team checks fibre type because coarse dust may damage finer synthetic piles if not handled correctly.
Deep dry vacuuming is the critical first step. Gravel and sand must be removed before water touches the pile, or the grit will be pushed deeper into the backing.
Black dust stains are treated with multiple rinses. Other marks from soil or grease are treated separately before general washing.
Fitted carpet in hallways is cleaned with warm water and strong flushing to remove embedded black dust and settled grit.
Fitted carpet in bedrooms is cleaned the same way but may need extra initial dry vacuuming to remove sand tracked in from outside.
Wet extraction removes water and remaining dust from the pile, and dry air dries the carpet quickly. No special dehumidification is required.
Wool, synthetic and silk-blends do not take the same heat or the same material.
Before any water.
An oil stain is not treated like a juice stain.
Hot water loosens what is bound in the pile and the extractor pulls it straight back out with the water, together, so nothing is left sitting in the base.
The borders and fringe are done by hand, where machines skip and where wear shows first, so the whole rug looks even.
The carpet is left slightly damp, not wet.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
Al Tawfeeq is a mixed district in east Jeddah far from the coast. Air is dry and dust is coarse and black from roads and activities.
Testing the material on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
The company runs a large workforce, and we send a team rather than one worker.
The deep vacuum and extraction machines are ours and arrive with the team.
If a rug needs repair or re-fringing rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Al Tawfeeq too, and more than one can share a single visit.
