We test before we clean
Testing the material on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Shati Al Thahabi is a new coastal district within Obhur Al Shamaliyah with newly released beachfront land and housing. High humidity and sea salt deposit on everything year-round. New carpet here needs deep cleaning to remove salt before it becomes embedded, and drying is slow in salt-laden humid air.
New carpet picks up salt moisture from the air from the moment of delivery, and drying here is slower than anywhere else in Jeddah. For the method itself, see our guide to carpet and rug cleaning.
Salt-laden air settles on new carpet faster than in inland areas. Salt stiffens the pile and dulls the colour. Warm-water washing lifts salt without damaging delicate new fibres.
Humid salt air re-enters the new pile with each passing hour. We run powerful air movers, open windows and run air conditioning to speed evaporation and prevent mildew starting in trapped moisture.
New slabs very close to the sea may be damp from proximity to salt water. Moisture can rise through new carpet from below. We extract with high pressure and measure moisture beneath the carpet before leaving.
A newly developed coastal district within the Obhur subdivisions on the northern shore, with newly released land and homes subject to consistently high salt humidity.
New coastal carpet has fine delicate fibres that shrink quickly if cooled. We use warm water only, never scalding, and test a corner first before committing to full extraction.
Dry vacuuming on Golden Beach must be forceful because salt makes dust heavier. We vacuum the same area twice to remove all particles before adding water.
Stains here are crystallised salt or shipping marks. We test a corner with fresh water first and explain what can be lifted without damage.
New fibres need very moderate warmth and steady flow. Cold water does not lift salt efficiently. We balance salt removal against fibre care so new carpet stays soft and bright.
Fitted carpet on a new coastal foundation may sit on damp concrete. We extract at very high pressure and measure the moisture levels below. If damp, we run air movers all night to dry underneath.
Final drying on Golden Beach requires powerful air circulation for six to eight hours minimum. We may recommend staying out of the space briefly to build humidity, then full ventilation once the carpet is damp but not wet to complete the process.
Wool, synthetic and silk-blends do not take the same heat or the same material.
Before any water.
An oil stain is not treated like a juice stain.
Hot water loosens what is bound in the pile and the extractor pulls it straight back out with the water, together, so nothing is left sitting in the base.
The borders and fringe are done by hand, where machines skip and where wear shows first, so the whole rug looks even.
The carpet is left slightly damp, not wet.
Al Shati Al Thahabi sits about 4 km from Balbeid and about 5.5 km from Al Furqan.

The company runs a large workforce, and we send a team rather than one worker.
The deep vacuum and extraction machines are ours and arrive with the team.
If a rug needs repair or re-fringing rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think.
Coastal area: high humidity and salt air through the year
Salt and humidity deposit quickly on new coastal carpet, and drying is very slow. We use moderate warm water, extract at higher pressure than other areas, and run extended air movers to ensure complete drying and prevent mildew or mustiness developing in the new pile.
We provide these in Al Shati Al Thahabi too, and more than one can share a single visit.
