We test before we clean
Testing the material on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Muntazahat is a mixed district in east Jeddah on Old Makkah Road with villas, apartment blocks and commercial frontages together. The air is drier and dust is coarser and paler than on the coast, coming in under doors and settling on every surface overnight. Flooring is ceramic tile in flats and marble in villas, both scratched by fine grit. Carpet carries layers of coarse grit and fine dry dust.
Flooring here is mostly ceramic in flats and marble in villas, and fine grit scratches both types when it is mopped underfoot. Carpet bears the weight of grit and dust more than moisture. For the method itself, see the full carpet and rug cleaning page.
Open terrain and hills behind the district release grit and dust into the air rapidly. The neighbourhood has both villas and flats mixed together, and each is equally exposed to the dust. Daily strong vacuuming is as essential for flats as for villas, since dust density is the same throughout.
Bright white and new marble in villas gets scratched by fine grit if not swept before being walked on. Carpet holds the grit in its pile, and walking on marble while carrying grit from carpet underfoot leaves visible scratches. Deep initial dry vacuuming must remove all grit from the fibres first.
Dry air dries carpet quickly throughout the district. However, strong winds can blow new dust from the hills during drying. We cover exposed areas and expedite the process, and villas may need extra care because their larger windows and open plans create more exposure.
The district lies far from the sea and close to open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, with dry air and dust entering homes and shops rapidly.
Sorting by fibre type and quality because carpet in new villas may be premium grades that require special handling and temperature control.
Deep dry vacuuming must be very strong because coarse grit and fine dust settle to the pile base rapidly and weak suction leaves most behind.
Grit, salt and dust deposits need separate pre treatment with salt dissolving agents before hot water is applied.
Wool and cotton carpet needs only moderate heat and must never be over saturated, and drying must be rapid to avoid dust re settling.
Fitted carpet in villa hallways needs strong suction to remove trapped grit and careful water management to avoid damaging marble underneath.
Wet extraction and drying require ventilation and protection from wind blown dust, especially in large villa spaces with multiple windows and exposure.
Wool, synthetic and silk-blends do not take the same heat or the same material.
Before any water.
An oil stain is not treated like a juice stain.
Hot water loosens what is bound in the pile and the extractor pulls it straight back out with the water, together, so nothing is left sitting in the base.
The borders and fringe are done by hand, where machines skip and where wear shows first, so the whole rug looks even.
The carpet is left slightly damp, not wet.
Testing the material on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
The company runs a large workforce, and we send a team rather than one worker.
The deep vacuum and extraction machines are ours and arrive with the team.
If a rug needs repair or re-fringing rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Al Muntazahat too, and more than one can share a single visit.
