We test before we clean
Testing the material on a hidden spot is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Farouq is a mixed district in south Jeddah between the ring road and Old Makkah Road, a blend of shops, apartment buildings, and warehouses and workshops marking the fringes. Oil and grit from ground floor businesses and warehouse operations spread through the neighbourhood; the carpet absorbs dust that is darker and oilier than in other districts, and moisture from the busy traffic near Haramain Road makes the soil heavier and harder to lift.
Most of the older flats here have ceramic floors that blacken fast, and carpet carries heavy dust that needs strong vacuuming to pull it from the pile base. For the method itself, see our guide to carpet and rug cleaning.
The warehouses and workshops at the district edges release dust that is different from ordinary dust, a mix of diesel particles, industrial oils and fine grit. This heavy dust clings to carpet more than light dust does, and it needs deep vacuuming and hot water washing at higher temperatures to come out fully.
Haramain Road and Al Falah Road carry heavy goods vehicles daily, and dust and oil spread over streets, pavements and the homes beside them. Homes near these roads need stronger washing because soil enters with every door and window opening. The carpet nearest the roads darkens visibly within weeks of washing.
Heavy vehicle traffic and visitor movement make the air damp in the district, and dampness makes industrial dust heavier and more likely to cling to carpet pile. This mix of heavy dust and humidity needs hot water washing and careful drying so moisture does not stay trapped in the carpet.
The district sits beside warehouses, workshop operations and industrial character, with heavy goods roads passing through it. The dust here is darker and carries industrial deposits and diesel residue from engines, which weights the carpet and dulls its colour more quickly than lighter urban dust.
Carpet here is mostly blend or wool, and heavy dust and oils need careful sorting by fibre type to ensure washing is safe throughout.
Deep vacuuming is essential to remove heavy dust that builds up fast in the pile base before it weights the carpet down.
Oil and industrial grease stains are treated individually with a degreaser suited to the stain type, not standard soap and water.
Washing happens at higher temperature to break down oils and heavy dust, with thorough rinsing to leave no residue behind.
Fitted carpet in hallways and open areas is washed carefully because soil enters fast in this district.
Drying is managed carefully to remove all moisture, because extra dampness in a heavily soiled place causes musty smells.
Wool, synthetic and silk-blends do not take the same heat or the same material.
Before any water.
An oil stain is not treated like a juice stain.
Hot water loosens what is bound in the pile and the extractor pulls it straight back out with the water, together, so nothing is left sitting in the base.
The borders and fringe are done by hand, where machines skip and where wear shows first, so the whole rug looks even.
The carpet is left slightly damp, not wet.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
The district is mixed use with warehouses and industrial operations nearby, bringing heavy oils and grit that spread through the neighbourhood. Carpet here needs washing strong enough to tackle industrial oils, not just dust removal. The character of the area means carpet soils faster and carries heavier deposits.

The company runs a large workforce, and we send a team rather than one worker.
The deep vacuum and extraction machines are ours and arrive with the team.
If a rug needs repair or re-fringing rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think.
Work reaches Al Farouq via Haramain Road, which brings heavy traffic daily, and Al Falah Road marks another boundary. Abdullah ibn Rawahah Mosque sits near the residential blocks, and Al Farouq Park sits within the district. These landmarks help locate the flat and its proximity to the heaviest traffic.
We provide these in Al Farouq too, and more than one can share a single visit.
