The gear reaches the scale
Proper descalers, matched to each surface, are what move mineral off glass and out of grout.

Al Shiraa is a modern northern district near the corniche on Prince Abdulmajeed Road and Aabir Al Qarat Street, housing King Abdullah Medical Complex, newer apartments and villas. Bathrooms here serve new occupants, both owners and tenants, with contemporary materials and designs. Yet the nearby corniche and sea mean exceptionally high humidity and salt in the air that affects metals and marble rapidly. Limescale and corrosion appear faster despite the building's modernity, distinguishing this district from inland neighbourhoods.
New villas and apartments in Al Shiraa have modern fittings, but sea salt causes deposits on taps and metals far faster than in comparable new buildings elsewhere. For the method itself, see our guide to bathroom cleaning.
Al Shiraa holds brand new villas and apartments with contemporary upmarket fittings, yet salt from the nearby sea causes corrosion and deposits on these surfaces at exceptional speed. Premium taps gleaming today may appear tarnished by salt oxidation within weeks. Cleaning requires extreme caution to avoid degrading new finishes with harsh cleaners.
Al Shiraa is crammed with new apartment blocks built close together, and high humidity does not disperse easily. Mould grows in grout and corners rapidly despite the building being new and pipes recent. Dense construction and sea proximity create stagnant damp pockets where air stirs poorly and moisture lingers.
Al Shiraa contains owner-occupied villas and rented apartments side by side, each with different use and maintenance patterns. An owner-occupied villa may be well-ventilated and clean, whilst a neighbouring rented apartment suffers poor air exchange and high moisture. Cleaning must recognise this variation and adapt approach accordingly.
Al Shiraa sits near the corniche and sea with King Abdullah Medical Complex and modern buildings, coastal humidity is extremely high despite the luxury recent construction.
Surfaces are luxury marble in villas and high-grade ceramic in apartments; salt effects are modest but present. Testing is cautious before cleaning as materials are recent and may have sensitive protective coatings.
Taps and fittings are premium metals and new finishes, deposits soak gently without hard scrubbing to avoid scratching the new polished appearance.
Grout lines are relatively recent but salt and mould cause rapid blackening. Individual line cleaning is necessary despite potentially lighter buildup than in older construction.
Glass and mirrors are clean and new but affected by salt at speed. Cleaning leaves results completely streak-free and bright, but regular maintenance cleaning is more important than elsewhere.
Toilet, basin and shower meet exacting standards with excellent materials. Cleaning maintains their shine without residue or stains on premium surfaces.
Ventilation and drainage are modern and well-designed, but salt may accumulate quickly in piping. Routine inspection is preferable to waiting for problems to emerge.
We open the room, take everything off the ledges and shelves, and lift loose hair from the drains before any water or chemical goes down.
Scale on glass, taps and the shower head is not scrubbed off cold.
The joints are treated and scrubbed along the line, top to bottom, because film sits in the porous grout and a flat wipe never enters it.
The bowl, the base joint and the floor trap are done as one stage, since this is where odour lives.
What the products loosened is lifted off, and everything is rinsed downward so nothing dirty settles back onto a cleaned surface.
The damp low corners are dried so nothing feeds mould again, then we walk the room with you.
Proper descalers, matched to each surface, are what move mineral off glass and out of grout.
We send a team, not a single person.
Where scale has already etched the glass or mould has stained the grout for good, we tell you at the inspection.
Nothing is called done until you have walked the room and said so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Al Shiraa lies on Prince Abdulmajeed Road and Aabir Al Qarat Street close to King Abdullah Medical Complex. These landmarks help pinpoint exact locations and guide easy access to villas and apartments from primary and secondary routes.
We provide these in Al Shiraa too, and more than one can share a single visit.
