We clean it where it is berthed
The work is done at the marina, deck and cabins both.

Al Gharbiyah is a new district in north Jeddah on the coast, part of the Obhur Al Shamaliyah extension with ongoing construction and open land between the homes. The landscape here is still half built, and the coastal winds carry fine sand that gets into every open space on a moored yacht. The dry seaside air and sandstorm patterns here mean a different cleaning routine than older districts.
Sand enters yachts from every open hatch and fitting, and the dry air pulls moisture from fabrics and cushions so fast that white salt crystals appear clearly visible within hours of the sea air drying them. For the method itself, see the full yacht cleaning page.
New districts still sit on semi built desert land, and coastal winds carry fine sand that works into small openings in the yacht's structure. Cleaning here must reverse the usual order: we remove the sand first before scrubbing surfaces, or the sand will scratch everything we wash.
Dry coastal air evaporates salt spray so quickly it leaves visible white crusts on glass and paintwork. This accumulated salt resists simple rinsing. It needs focused scrubbing and immediate drying to prevent it resetting as the air dries it again.
New districts have no mature trees or closely built structures to filter sun and salt spray. The yacht sits exposed to direct coastal conditions all day. Surfaces heat faster, salt crystallises faster, and it sets harder than in older shaded districts.
A new coastal district in north Jeddah served by King Abdulaziz Road, with vacant plots between new construction, still in the early stages of urban development.
Fresh water rinse here needs moderate pressure, not high pressure spray, because high pressure will lift sand from the decks and force it back into openings.
Teak and fiberglass both collect sand and dry salt that need gentle scrubbing and dry wiping first before water, otherwise sand grains will scratch the finish as you clean.
Cabins and sleeping berths need sand removed first by vacuum and dry wipe, before water is introduced. Humidity here is lower than older districts so drying happens faster.
The galley area collects sand under the refrigerator and cooktop, requiring full cleaning underneath appliances and along edge seals.
The onboard washroom here has lower humidity than older coastal districts, but salt deposits form around taps quickly from the dry salty air.
Seating and cushions collect sand and salt, so we lift them to empty what lies beneath before washing the fabrics themselves carefully.
Before anything is wiped, the whole exterior is rinsed to soften and float off the salt.
Cabin top, then the sides, then the deck.
The textured areas worked with a brush to lift salt and sunscreen out of the grip, where a rinse leaves it behind.
Windows and windshields cleaned and dried so the mineral spots do not just reappear as the water evaporates.
Cabins, galley and heads wiped and floors cleaned, with hatches open and air moving to pull the damp smell out rather than seal it in.
We walk the deck and cabins with you before we step off.

The company runs a large workforce, and we send a team rather than one worker.
Machines and materials arrive with the team, not rented and not borrowed.
If what you need is gelcoat polishing or teak work rather than cleaning, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not step off before you have seen the result and told us what you think.
North Jeddah is largely newer villa districts and compounds around Obhur and inland from it. Homes here tend to have marble or porcelain floors, large windows and a garden or courtyard, so the routine is set by what comes in from outside: fine sand carried on sandals, and sprinkler spray that dries to a chalky ring on tiles. Near the creek and the coast, sea air leaves a faint salt film on glass and on outdoor cushions, which stiffens fabric. Curtains and upholstery in these open plan rooms catch the dust that settles overnight.
We provide these in Al Gharbiyah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
