The right gear for drinking water
Pumps to clear sludge, scrubbing to remove biofilm, and disinfectant meant for potable storage.

Um Hablain West is a simple residential neighbourhood in east Jeddah, close to King Abdulaziz International Airport. Tanks here collect dust from airport operations and heavy traffic routes. The strategic position between the Haramain High Speed Railway and the Ofuq Al Khail equestrian academy means continuous activity, noise and dust from the surrounding environment. Water quality is affected more heavily than in residential areas far from these facilities.
Tanks in Um Hablain West collect airport dust and exhaust particles from adjacent roads, and water is often cloudy due to intensive activity around the airport. For the method itself, see how we approach water tank cleaning.
The neighbourhood is very close to King Abdulaziz International Airport, and aircraft operations and heavy equipment raise fine dust continuously. Major roads leading to the airport carry trucks and vehicles that emit exhaust and dust. Tanks accumulate this dust more readily than districts far from the airport.
The Haramain High Speed Railway passes near the neighbourhood, and tracks and stations generate dust and vibration. The Ofuq Al Khail equestrian academy nearby adds horse dust and arena soil from training and racing. Continuous activity means an environment filled with suspended particles.
The location is strategic near the airport and main routes, but this means continuous exposure to pollutants from transport activity, aircraft operations and industrial activity. Tanks are under constant environmental pressure.
A simple residential district on the fringes of King Abdulaziz International Airport, close to Mareekh Mountains and the Haramain High Speed Railway corridors. The location sits near major transport routes with constant movement.
Tank checked before we start: proximity to the airport means the tank is under environmental pressure. We inspect the tank inside and out to determine dust accumulation and any damage from vibration or corrosion.
Old water drained out: water may be cloudy or carry odours. Full evacuation removes all sediment and accumulated dust.
Sediment vacuumed from the bottom: sediment is a mix of airport dust, road dust and aircraft emissions. Deep suction removes all of it.
Walls and floor scrubbed: tank walls may hold fine stubborn deposits. Manual scrubbing removes them carefully.
Interior surfaces disinfected: strong disinfectant kills bacteria and pollutants. In a neighbourhood near the airport, stronger disinfection may be needed.
Final rinse and lid check: rinsing clears all dust and residual disinfectant. The cover is inspected for openings that may need better sealing.
The supply into the tank is shut and the tank is drained completely.
The sludge on the floor is scooped and pumped out first.
The biofilm on the walls is physically scrubbed off.
With the walls and floor clean, a disinfectant made for drinking-water storage is applied and given time to act on every surface.
The disinfectant and any loosened residue are rinsed down and pumped out, so the first tank of water after us is not carrying it.
We check the cover seal and inlet before refilling, so dust and insects stay out, then start the refill while you watch it run clear.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
Um Hablain West's proximity to the airport means continuous exposure to dust and pollutants from aircraft activity and heavy traffic routes. Disinfection must be strong, and cleaning intervals must be tighter than in neighbourhoods far from major transport.

We send a team, not one person, so a tank is drained, cleaned, disinfected and refilled in a single visit rather than left open for days.
We look at the lid seal and inlet, because a tank that got dirty fast usually has a way in.
Nothing is closed until the tank is refilling and you have seen the water run clean.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until the tank is disinfected, refilling, and you have seen it for yourself.
Um Hablain West lies in the shadow of King Abdulaziz International Airport and the Haramain High Speed Railway, and work here requires coordination with residents especially during peak airport traffic periods.
We provide these in Um Hablain West too, and more than one can share a single visit.
