We test before we wash
Testing the product on a hidden patch is a step we treat as necessary rather than optional.
Al Muntazahat is a mixed district stretched along the Old Makkah Road in south east Jeddah, where villas and apartment blocks stand beside commercial frontages. The air here is drier than the coast and the dust is coarser and paler. Sofas collect soil from main road traffic, and roof tank sediment leaves a grey film on every piece of fabric.
Sofas, mattresses and curtains accumulate coarse dust quickly, and mineral deposits from roof tanks leave marks on lighter coloured fabrics. For the method itself, see our sofa and upholstery cleaning service in detail.
The Old Makkah Road is a main highway carrying heavy vehicles and truck traffic. This traffic raises coarse dust that enters villas and flats through windows and doors. The dust is coarser than household dust and embeds deep in the weave.
Villas have marble floors and flats have ceramic tile. Fine grit from the road scratches both if not swept before mopping. This grit then generates additional dust inside the home.
The park and landscaping do help somewhat to filter the air, but they add slight moisture. Sofas near the park may gather a little more moisture than those away from it.
The Old Makkah Road carries constant heavy vehicle traffic and generates coarse dust from the road surface and open ground. The air is dry and dust enters under doors, settling on all surfaces.
Fabric may carry mineral deposits from tank water, and testing identifies which products safely remove scale.
Very deep vacuuming is essential because coarse dust embeds deep in the weave.
Mineral scale from roof tanks needs pre-wash treatment before the main cycle.
Scatter cushions trap more dust and deposits and are cleaned on both sides.
Stains from coarse dust and mineral deposits are treated with specific products before the full wash.
Drying is standard pace here as the air is dry, and the sofa dries quickly.
Cotton, velvet, chenille and synthetics do not take the same heat or the same product.
Before any water.
An oil mark is not treated like a juice mark.
We wash with the method that suits the fabric.
The piece is left slightly damp, never wet.
We go over the pieces with you before leaving.
Testing the product on a hidden patch is a step we treat as necessary rather than optional.
The company employs more than forty cleaners, and we send a crew rather than an individual.
The washing and extraction machines are ours and travel with the crew.
If a piece needs reupholstering rather than washing, we say so.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to be keepable: we do not leave until you have seen the result and given your view of it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Al Muntazahat too, and more than one can share a single visit.
