We test before we treat
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.

Al Rayyan lies east of the Haramain Expressway between the air base bridge and Al Kawthar, with the Al Thuraya and Al Sultan schemes on a broad street grid that is relatively new. Pools here are simple, in modern apartments and villas, but incomplete drainage work and ongoing excavation affect water quality and pools need treatment adapted to developing conditions.
Pools here retain less humidity than the coast but fine dust enters them quickly, and the filter may clog faster because the ground beneath houses carries fine sand that migrates upward. For the method itself, see what swimming pool cleaning involves.
Al Rayyan is relatively new and some streets have excavation and sewerage work ongoing. This means more dust from the digging and moisture from untested pipes being installed. Water may turn cloudy very quickly as a result of the construction.
East Jeddah is drier than the coast, so water evaporates fast and the tank needs constant refilling. But fine dust from bare ground and construction blows into the pool fast and clogs the filter. Better protection and a strong filter are necessary.
Al Rayyan is a recent scheme where villas and blocks are interleaved without clear separation. Pools vary greatly in size and age. Testing each pool on its own is essential: no single schedule suits all.
The district sits in a newly developed urban stretch east of the city far from the sea, where the air is dry and dust is coarser, but sewerage lines remain under construction in some streets.
Water from a new tank may carry mineral deposits from new piping, so testing first checks salinity and total dissolved solids: if dangerously high, we may need partial water change before dosing begins.
Walls in new houses are clean but moisture from excavation around the house can cause mould fast. Brushing is moderate because tile is new. Precise testing prevents mould from establishing at all.
Vacuuming may find very fine sand: moderate suction rather than force is better because sand spreads instead of collecting otherwise. Water may stay slightly turbid always until construction ends.
The skimmer and baskets need frequent checking: dust from digging enters fast. You may need emptying mid-visit during this phase.
The filter clogs very fast: strong backwashing is essential and we may need to backwash twice in one service. We test pressure after washing: if it stays weak, a stronger filter is recommended.
After dosing we walk the pool with you and test again: the district is new and ground conditions may affect stability. We explain that things may improve once construction finishes.
pH, sanitiser and hardness are read at the start.
Floating leaves and debris come off before we brush.
Algae and the oily waterline film cling to the surfaces.
Silt settles in the deep end and the corners the return jets never reach.
The skimmer and pump baskets are cleared and the filter checked or backwashed.
With the water clean, we balance and dose, then walk the pool with you before leaving.
Pools here sit near the Air Base Bridge and the Al Thuraya and Al Sultan schemes, accessed by the broad relatively new residential streets. Al Rayyan Health Centre and Uqbah ibn Nafi Mosque help pinpoint the location on first visit.
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.
The company runs a large crew, and we send a team rather than one person.
Pumps, vacuum heads and the test kit come with the team.
If the pump or the plumbing is the real problem, we tell you.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we don't leave until you've seen the result and had your say on it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Al Rayyan too, and more than one can share a single visit.
