We test before we treat
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.

Al Hindawiyah is a dense, historic quarter beside Jeddah Islamic Port dating from the nineteenth century, its narrow streets lined with shops and close-set apartment buildings. Pools are rare here and usually sit in old villas or small shared courtyard pools, and the water is affected by coastal humidity and sea salt in the air.
Pools here hold unusual moisture even in winter, and white salt deposits appear on walls very fast, leaving a crusty line at the waterline within days. For the method itself, see our swimming pool cleaning service in detail.
Al Hindawiyah sits directly beside the port, and the air is saturated with humidity and salt. Pool walls here show black mould patches and white salt scale far faster than districts away from the sea, and the waterline discolours within days of treatment.
Narrow streets and old close-set buildings mean permanent shadow and weak air circulation. Pools do not dry fast and the water stays perpetually damp, and algae thrives in this dark, wet climate unlike sunny villa districts.
Al Hindawiyah is very old, with original brass pipes and decades-old filters that may be partially blocked already. Water pressure may be weak and the skimmer may not work efficiently until it has been thoroughly cleaned.
The district is surrounded by water on the port side and enclosed by residential blocks and old shops, with the highest humidity in the city and air saturated with sea salt that deposits constantly on every surface.
Water here carries high humidity and accumulated salt, so testing first includes salt, total dissolved solids and chlorine together: adding chlorine without knowing the salt level wastes the dose because it will not work.
Walls in old blocks are covered in mould and salt scale that has built up for years, so brushing needs extra care because old tile may be fragile and crumble. After brushing we test again to know how much chlorine actually gets into solution.
Vacuuming is very slow because humidity may block visibility and salt deposits can be hard. Moderate pressure is needed rather than force to avoid stirring sediment back into the water.
The skimmer may not work at all: cleaning is not just leaf removal but thorough internal scrubbing because salt and mould block all the intake ports and jets.
The filter here may be original to the building, so strong backwash alone may not clear decades of scale. We inspect the filter carefully and may recommend replacement if performance does not improve.
After dosing we walk with you and suggest ventilation improvements: the excess humidity is from location but better airflow around the pool makes maintenance much easier.
pH, sanitiser and hardness are read at the start.
Floating leaves and debris come off before we brush.
Algae and the oily waterline film cling to the surfaces.
Silt settles in the deep end and the corners the return jets never reach.
The skimmer and pump baskets are cleared and the filter checked or backwashed.
With the water clean, we balance and dose, then walk the pool with you before leaving.
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.
The company runs a large crew, and we send a team rather than one person.
Pumps, vacuum heads and the test kit come with the team.
If the pump or the plumbing is the real problem, we tell you.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we don't leave until you've seen the result and had your say on it.
Pools here are close to Port Street and Al Dhahab Street (Abdullah Hashim Street), and the work needs coordination with the surrounding shops. Access via Port Street may be delayed by foot traffic, and the pool usually sits in a courtyard behind a shop or a tiny managed garden.
We provide these in Al Hindawiyah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
