We test before we treat
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.

Al Ajaweed sits in a mixed commercial-residential district where shops occupy ground floors and homes fill the levels above, so cooking fumes and street dust settle on pool surfaces faster than in purely residential neighbourhoods. The waterline and walls attract marks from traffic and outdoor air movement. The pool here is part of a lived-in street, not a quiet garden.
Most pools here are small to medium sized, visible from the street or shared viewpoint, and they collect settlement faster because the surrounding area is commercially active most of the day. For the method itself, see our guide to swimming pool cleaning.
Al Ajaweed is a mixed-use district: ground floor shops and cafes bring street dust and cooking oils into the air. Restaurant fumes and tobacco smoke deposit a thin film on the water surface. Skimming alone does not address the chemical imbalance this creates. Water testing before any treatment is essential in this area.
South Jeddah lies closer to the sea, and humidity here is higher, so a faint salt film forms on glass, tile edges and filter rims overnight. Pool water drifts out of balance faster in damp air than in dry inland districts. Walls need scrubbing to a deeper standard than in purely desert neighbourhoods.
Some Al Ajaweed villas were built two decades ago and the pool plumbing may hold scale deposits in filter lines and skimmer baskets. Scale grows fast in south Jeddah waters, so basket inspection is more critical here than in newer suburbs.
A middle-income district between the Jeddah Makkah Expressway and Al Shifa, a mix of villas, apartment buildings and residential plots bordered by Al Ajawid Park and Hyper Panda.
Water in Al Ajaweed carries traces of salt and moisture from the nearby sea, so we test pH, chlorine and alkalinity before any physical work starts.
Walls and the waterline here trap street debris and faint smoke from surrounding shops, so brushing is deeper and more thorough than in quiet suburbs.
The floor collects fine sand and dark dirt from visible roads, so vacuuming demands precision in gathering settled matter from every corner.
The skimmer catches leaves and dust faster here because the district is active and mixed use, so the basket needs frequent clearing during the visit.
The filter carries light oils from shop ventilation, so backwashing is longer and more vigorous to dislodge the embedded residue.
The final chemical reset takes time, because Al Ajaweed water will drift out of balance quickly if dosing is not exact.
pH, sanitiser and hardness are read at the start.
Floating leaves and debris come off before we brush.
Algae and the oily waterline film cling to the surfaces.
Silt settles in the deep end and the corners the return jets never reach.
The skimmer and pump baskets are cleared and the filter checked or backwashed.
With the water clean, we balance and dose, then walk the pool with you before leaving.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
A mixed district pool means the district itself is mixed: commerce below and homes above, so water pollution comes from two directions at once: street dust and cooking fumes.
Reading the water first isn't optional to us.
The company runs a large crew, and we send a team rather than one person.
Pumps, vacuum heads and the test kit come with the team.
If the pump or the plumbing is the real problem, we tell you.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we don't leave until you've seen the result and had your say on it.
South Jeddah runs from the port and the industrial city down towards Al Khumrah, and homes here sit between the sea and the heavy goods roads. The dust is darker and oilier than in the north, a mix of diesel soot and workshop grit, and it clings to net curtains, window sills and the tops of kitchen cupboards. Floors in the older low rise housing are often plain cement or ceramic tile that darkens where soot is walked in. Humidity from the coast adds mildew in bathrooms and a musty smell in stored fabrics.
We provide these in Al Ajaweed too, and more than one can share a single visit.
