We test before we clean
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.

Al Muzayria is a new development in north Jeddah with vacant plots and active construction scattered among newly built homes. Fresh curtains are quickly filled with building dust and sand from open foundations, and harbour deep moisture from the site work. Specialised cleaning removes the dust properly and preserves the new fine fabrics.
New curtains in this district fill with fine construction sand and dust from excavations and open foundations unusually fast, and they carry deep moisture from building work that does not occur in completed neighbourhoods. For the method itself, see how we approach curtain cleaning.
Active construction around the district lifts wet dust from excavations and concrete mixes. Curtains in homes next to building sites absorb this dust at high speed, and after one month of living there, even new curtains look aged and packed with fine sand that ordinary airing cannot remove.
Open foundations, wet concrete mixes and the water used throughout construction release very high humidity. Curtains absorb this moisture from the air and from damp walls, and they become damp inside the weave even when they look dry on the surface.
Wide open spaces between new houses and empty plots create unpredictable strong currents. Air rushes through windows carrying heavy dust waves, and curtains face constantly shifting flows of fine and wet dust. Ordinary hanging cannot keep pace with the chaotic exposure.
One of the newer subdivisions in the Obhur Al Shamaliyah extension where land and utilities are still under development, with vacant plots surrounding the new apartment blocks and villas on every side.
New fabric in the developing district is usually sturdy and thickly woven, but it is packed with fine construction sand that needs gentle methods to remove without damaging the new weave.
Removal is fairly straightforward because the rails are new and strong, but curtains packed with sand may be noticeably heavier than normal because the dust adds genuine weight.
Dry vacuum must be very long and thorough because building sand clings to the fibres. Light shaking precedes vacuum, and deep suction continues until almost no dust comes out.
Stains are rare in brand new curtains, but moisture and dust may leave faint discolouration. Warm water removes it easily without aggressive action needed.
Cleaning method depends on fabric weight, heavier new weaves tolerate warmer water, and lighter fabrics need warm water and gentle handling to preserve the new finish.
Rehang in new homes requires complete drying time. Moisture from the building site may slow drying, so we leave curtains in good air circulation for one or two extra days before final hanging.
Cotton, linen, velvet, blackout weave and synthetic sheers do not take the same heat or the same solution.
Before any water.
A water spot at the hem is not treated like a greasy film near a kitchen.
We loosen what has bonded inside the fibres across the full panel, both faces and top to hem, with the method that suits the fabric, while the curtains stay on the rail so the drape is not disturbed.
The loosened dirt and water are pulled back out in the same pass.
We go over the panels with you before the team leaves.
New development: ongoing construction and vacant plots between the homes
Active construction and vacant plots mean this district's curtains collect sand and moisture faster than completed neighbourhoods. New fabrics need treatment that removes deep dust without harming curtains that have not yet weathered normal use.
Testing the solution on a hidden fold is a step we treat as necessary, not optional.
We send a team, not a single worker.
The cleaning and extraction machines come with the team.
If a panel needs a tailor rather than a clean, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave before you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
The district lies along Jeddah Madinah Road between exits of King Abdulaziz Road, and this location defines the methods we use and how we reach each home. We arrive from both main roads and know every plot and villa by its position on the road network.
We provide these in Al Muzayria too, and more than one can share a single visit.
