The access to reach it safely
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.

Al Sulaimaniyah East is a mixed district of medium density relatively older in character, near the Haramain Road and the Haramain high speed railway station, with apartment blocks, villas and commercial streets along King Abdullah Road. Chandeliers here vary in age and type, and the accumulation of grease from kitchens, fine street dust and older electrical connections make cleaning a precise task requiring careful handling.
The district is older in character compared to main Al Sulaimaniyah, and electrical wiring may be dated. Chandeliers vary widely in age and type, calling for careful inspection of each one. For the method itself, see the full chandelier cleaning page.
Al Sulaimaniyah East has commercial streets with shops below and apartments above them. Shops release cooking vapours from restaurants and cafes that rise into the apartments and affect their chandeliers. This mixture of cooking fumes and commercial dust accumulates quickly and needs regular careful cleaning to maintain light output.
The district is relatively older so electrical connections may be dated and unreliable. We inspect every connection before removing the chandelier and verify safety. Old conduits and wiring need special care during removal and reassembly to avoid damage.
King Abdullah Road is busy and carries fine dust from heavy traffic. This dust settles on chandeliers in apartments facing the street and mixes with cooking grease from shops below, forming a fine silt that is hard to remove by simple wiping.
The eastern portion of Al Sulaymaniyah near the Haramain Road and the Haramain high speed rail station, with apartment buildings, villas and commercial streets. Medium density housing under the Umm Al Salam sub municipality, bordered by Al Nakhil to the north and Abruq Al Raghamah to the east.
We inspect the mounting type and electrical connections carefully before removing, as the district is older and connections may be weak or undocumented.
Power is cut completely and we wait before removal to ensure old electrical wiring is cool and safe to handle.
Pre-removal photography preserves component order and wiring layout. This is essential for older fixtures where connections may be complex.
Each piece is washed in warm water with mild soap. Dust and grease require a gentle solution that does not damage old metals.
Metal frame and arms: careful cleaning of dust and grease. Old metals may be weak so strong polishing is avoided.
Safe reassembly and full check ensure old connections are secure and lights work before leaving. We may recommend an electrical inspection.
The circuit is switched off before anything is touched, and warm bulbs are given time to cool.
We check how it is built, which crystals are loose, and how it comes apart before removing a thing.
The area under the fixture is covered before we start, so a dropped crystal lands soft and nothing marks the floor or table below.
Where the piece allows, crystals come off and are washed and dried individually.
With the crystals off or aside, the frame, arms, bulb holders and ceiling mount are wiped down, since that is where film and webs hide behind the glass.
Every crystal goes back to its place, the fixture is switched on and checked, and we walk the room with you.
Mixed district: shops at street level with homes above them
The mixed district means apartments above shops encounter more cooking vapours and grease than isolated residential apartments. Cleaning here focuses on deeper grease removal because the source is directly below and migration between units is constant.
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.
We send a team, not one person, so crystals come off, get washed and go back in one visit, without a lone worker hurrying a fragile piece to finish before dark.
Whether crystals come off or are cleaned in place depends on how the fixture is built.
Nothing is done until the fixture is back together, switched on, and you have seen it throw its light.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until the fixture is reassembled, lit, and you have seen it for yourself.
Central Jeddah is the old heart of the city: Al Balad with its coral stone houses, and the dense apartment quarters around it with shops beneath the flats. Floors here are often terrazzo or older ceramic tile, worn smooth and easily stained by cooking grease that drifts up from the street. Older kitchens and bathrooms carry heavy scale on taps and around drains, and pipework in the older blocks leaves rust marks in basins. Rugs and curtains take on the fine black dust of the main roads, so they need washing more often than elsewhere.
We provide these in Al Sulaimaniyah East too, and more than one can share a single visit.
