The access to reach it safely
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.

Al Muhammar is a simple residential district in east Jeddah near Jeddah University, one of a cluster of small neighbouring quarters with a practical residential character. Chandeliers here may be older or mid-age, and dust from the nearby main road and seasonal humidity make annual cleaning necessary to preserve light output.
The small neighbourhoods here are relatively recent but some villas hold older chandeliers from before replanning, and dust from the main road accumulates quickly. Older electrical work may still be in place. For the method itself, see the full chandelier cleaning page.
Al Muhammar holds villas from before replanning with older fixtures and newer villas with modern ones. Older chandeliers need careful dismantling; newer ones need precise cleaning. We inspect each fixture individually and choose the method suited to its age and condition.
The main road passing through the district carries coarse dust from traffic, nearby quarries and construction work. This dust settles on the chandelier quickly and calls for regular cleaning to maintain light output.
Villas in Al Muhammar are modest in size and may have medium ceiling height. Work demands extra care to avoid damage to furniture and decor in cramped living spaces.

We inspect mounting type and components with extra care in Al Muhammar, as some villas are older and ceilings may not be well documented.
Power is cut and we wait before dismantling older chandeliers to ensure wiring is cool and safe.
Pre-removal photography is essential for preserving component order, especially in older fixtures where pieces may be slightly loose or sagging.
Washing each piece requires care in older chandeliers. Old crystal can be brittle, so we use warm water only without harsh solutions.
Metal frame and arms: gentle cleaning without aggressive polishing on older pieces. Old metals may show patina and rust marks we must preserve.
Safe reassembly and checking: we carefully verify that older connections are secure and lights work before leaving.
The circuit is switched off before anything is touched, and warm bulbs are given time to cool.
We check how it is built, which crystals are loose, and how it comes apart before removing a thing.
The area under the fixture is covered before we start, so a dropped crystal lands soft and nothing marks the floor or table below.
Where the piece allows, crystals come off and are washed and dried individually.
With the crystals off or aside, the frame, arms, bulb holders and ceiling mount are wiped down, since that is where film and webs hide behind the glass.
Every crystal goes back to its place, the fixture is switched on and checked, and we walk the room with you.
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.
We send a team, not one person, so crystals come off, get washed and go back in one visit, without a lone worker hurrying a fragile piece to finish before dark.
Whether crystals come off or are cleaned in place depends on how the fixture is built.
Nothing is done until the fixture is back together, switched on, and you have seen it throw its light.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until the fixture is reassembled, lit, and you have seen it for yourself.
Work is coordinated from the main University of Jeddah Road running through the district, close to Jeddah University Stadium. Access to villas is easy from the tributary streets serving the neighbourhood.
We provide these in Al Muhammar too, and more than one can share a single visit.
