The access to reach it safely
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.

Al Harazat is a dense apartment district in south east Jeddah, low rise blocks on narrow streets with shared entrances. The neighbourhood grew on old farmland and is a crowded popular quarter. Chandeliers sit in tightly packed flats, and work requires entry through a shared door and protection of the corridor and street. Dry dust from the east and grease from ground floor shops combine, so the chandelier gathers both together.
Flats in the area are crowded and streets very narrow, so work needs careful co-ordination with neighbours and the shared corridor cannot be blocked for hours. For the method itself, see our guide to chandelier cleaning.
The district is dense and flats sit very close together. Shared corridors are narrow and need protection during work. Neighbours must come and go, so work must finish in set time. Speed and efficiency that stay safe are essential.
Shops on the ground floors release grease and cooking fumes that rise to the flats. Narrow streets trap dust and pollution. The chandelier collects grease and dust together in a hard layer that is tough to shift.
Entry through a shared door means protecting the corridor and stairwell from water and grime. Work must be agreed with the owner and neighbours. Any disturbance or damage causes serious complaints and disputes.
Al Harazat is a densely built residential spread in south east Jeddah near Old Makkah Road, low rise apartment blocks on narrow streets, served by local mosques, health centres and everyday shops.
Flats in old dense blocks may have very old wiring: very careful inspection is needed before cutting power.
Cutting power may need the owner's help or an assistant: some panels may be distant or complex.
Photography before dismantling is critical in crowded flats: tight space makes remembering the layout difficult.
Washing starts with warm water and fairly strong soap to remove grease before tackling dust.
Frame and arms need medium brushing to remove layers of grease and dust together.
Reassembly needs care: tight space means no room for mistakes during assembly.
The circuit is switched off before anything is touched, and warm bulbs are given time to cool.
We check how it is built, which crystals are loose, and how it comes apart before removing a thing.
The area under the fixture is covered before we start, so a dropped crystal lands soft and nothing marks the floor or table below.
Where the piece allows, crystals come off and are washed and dried individually.
With the crystals off or aside, the frame, arms, bulb holders and ceiling mount are wiped down, since that is where film and webs hide behind the glass.
Every crystal goes back to its place, the fixture is switched on and checked, and we walk the room with you.
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.
We send a team, not one person, so crystals come off, get washed and go back in one visit, without a lone worker hurrying a fragile piece to finish before dark.
Whether crystals come off or are cleaned in place depends on how the fixture is built.
Nothing is done until the fixture is back together, switched on, and you have seen it throw its light.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until the fixture is reassembled, lit, and you have seen it for yourself.
Apartment district: residential blocks, repeated floors and shared entrances
Apartment blocks with shared entrances and narrow streets mean work must be carefully coordinated with neighbours and full corridor protection is essential. The shared space cannot be blocked, so fast safe efficiency is mandatory.
We provide these in Al Harazat too, and more than one can share a single visit.
