The access to reach it safely
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.

Al Durrah is a new development in north Jeddah with construction ongoing and vacant plots between newly built homes, so chandeliers are exposed to large quantities of fine construction dust and sand that penetrate windows easily. Cleaning here is more frequent than in completed districts because the dust settles continuously.
Construction dust enters homes more readily in new developing districts, so chandeliers gather thick layers of fine dust rapidly. For the method itself, see the full chandelier cleaning page.
The district is under construction with vacant land around it, so winds carry very fine dust that enters any gap or crack. This dust settles on crystals as a thin layer that dulls light reflection, and surface wiping from below cannot remove it fully.
The district is new and homes are new, so electrical wiring is usually safe and up to current standards. This means we can work with more confidence, but cleaning the fixture of construction dust still requires special care to avoid scratching the crystals.
Open land between houses allows winds to move freely, increasing the amount of dust and sand entering the homes. Chandeliers in new properties gather dust layers faster than in completed districts because the building process continues.
The district is part of the Obhur Al Shamaliyah subdivisions, served by Jeddah Madinah Road and King Abdulaziz Road, with large vacant land areas not yet developed.
Modern chandeliers in new homes are usually crystal or contemporary metals, each requiring separate inspection before work begins.
Modern wiring is safe, but we disconnect power carefully from inside the home and test every connection point.
We photograph the layout before removal, important for modern fixtures with complex contemporary designs.
Each piece is washed separately to remove the fine construction dust that does not dissolve easily.
The frame and arms receive special attention because construction dust settles deeply on metal surfaces.
After reassembly we light the fixture and ask your approval before we finish.
The circuit is switched off before anything is touched, and warm bulbs are given time to cool.
We check how it is built, which crystals are loose, and how it comes apart before removing a thing.
The area under the fixture is covered before we start, so a dropped crystal lands soft and nothing marks the floor or table below.
Where the piece allows, crystals come off and are washed and dried individually.
With the crystals off or aside, the frame, arms, bulb holders and ceiling mount are wiped down, since that is where film and webs hide behind the glass.
Every crystal goes back to its place, the fixture is switched on and checked, and we walk the room with you.
New development: ongoing construction and vacant plots between the homes
A new development means chandeliers face heavy fine construction dust constantly, so cleaning needs special care to remove fine particles that might scratch crystals if not removed carefully.
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.
We send a team, not one person, so crystals come off, get washed and go back in one visit, without a lone worker hurrying a fragile piece to finish before dark.
Whether crystals come off or are cleaned in place depends on how the fixture is built.
Nothing is done until the fixture is back together, switched on, and you have seen it throw its light.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until the fixture is reassembled, lit, and you have seen it for yourself.
Al Durrah sits on Jeddah Madinah Road and near King Abdulaziz Road, which makes access to new homes straightforward via these clearly mapped main routes.
We provide these in Al Durrah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
