The access to reach it safely
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.

Al Abeer sits on newly released land where construction continues all around it, and dust rises from the ground every day. The chandeliers here are modern, hung in new villas, but sand and dust settle on the crystal before you notice the room has dimmed. Humidity from the nearby Persian Gulf turns that dust into a sticky film that dulls the light far faster than dry dust ever would. This area soils faster than settled districts.
New villas here do not suffer the heavy cooking grease that marks older central districts, but fine sand and construction dust accumulate on smooth surfaces far faster than in established neighbourhoods. For the method itself, see what chandelier cleaning involves.
These homes are surrounded by active building sites and vacant plots that raise fine dust continuously. Brand new chandeliers in new villas collect this dust far faster than fixtures in stable districts. The first cleaning immediately after moving in makes a visible difference, and frequency thereafter rises because the soiling rate is higher than elsewhere.
Near Obhur and the Gulf, fine sand enters the home on every footstep and salt air leaves a light coating on metal and glass. The chandelier traps all of it, and moisture in the sea air turns fine sand from dry dust into a sticky layer that cannot be wiped away with a soft brush. The salt accelerates tarnish on metal arms and fittings.
New villas in Al Abeer have polished marble or porcelain floors and expansive windows. Water from washing the chandelier can leave chalky rings on new marble if not dried immediately and carefully. A brand new home deserves extra care because every surface is in first condition and damage shows at once.
The district is surrounded by active building sites and vacant plots within Obhur Al Shamaliyah, where excavation and grading continuously raise fine dust into the air. Main roads serve the area and construction machinery operates routinely nearby.
Chandeliers in Al Abeer are usually imported and brand new; we inspect the type and mounting before we touch anything at all.
We cut the power at once and protect the new polished marble floor with thick cloth before we begin dismantling.
We photograph every arrangement clearly before we remove any single piece, so every crystal goes back exactly where it hung.
We wash each crystal and metal piece separately in clean warm water and soft cloth, taking time with delicate imported work.
We clean the frame and arms thoroughly of dust, salt film and any trace of grease, and polish metal arms with care.
We reassemble the chandelier with care, test every bulb, and walk the floor beneath to light it and check that it hangs true before we close the job.
The circuit is switched off before anything is touched, and warm bulbs are given time to cool.
We check how it is built, which crystals are loose, and how it comes apart before removing a thing.
The area under the fixture is covered before we start, so a dropped crystal lands soft and nothing marks the floor or table below.
Where the piece allows, crystals come off and are washed and dried individually.
With the crystals off or aside, the frame, arms, bulb holders and ceiling mount are wiped down, since that is where film and webs hide behind the glass.
Every crystal goes back to its place, the fixture is switched on and checked, and we walk the room with you.
New development: ongoing construction and vacant plots between the homes
A new development means ongoing construction near the homes and vacant plots raising dust daily. Brand new chandeliers in new villas soil faster than fixtures in stable neighbourhoods. Early cleaning after moving in protects the chandelier from heavy dust, and regular cleaning thereafter maintains the light throughout the year.
A crystal fixture over a stairwell is not a job for a kitchen stool.
We send a team, not one person, so crystals come off, get washed and go back in one visit, without a lone worker hurrying a fragile piece to finish before dark.
Whether crystals come off or are cleaned in place depends on how the fixture is built.
Nothing is done until the fixture is back together, switched on, and you have seen it throw its light.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until the fixture is reassembled, lit, and you have seen it for yourself.
North Jeddah is largely newer villa districts and compounds around Obhur and inland from it. Homes here tend to have marble or porcelain floors, large windows and a garden or courtyard, so the routine is set by what comes in from outside: fine sand carried on sandals, and sprinkler spray that dries to a chalky ring on tiles. Near the creek and the coast, sea air leaves a faint salt film on glass and on outdoor cushions, which stiffens fabric. Curtains and upholstery in these open plan rooms catch the dust that settles overnight.
We provide these in Al Abeer too, and more than one can share a single visit.
