The gear reaches the scale
Proper descalers, matched to each surface, are what move mineral off glass and out of grout.

Ghulail is a decades old quarter in south Jeddah near the former Al Mahjar quarantine district. Its narrow lanes and worn streets suffered from failing drainage and uncollected refuse, and its informal buildings have been cleared entirely under the South Jeddah redevelopment programme. The land now awaits rebuilding. The location between the port and industrial city means black oily dust from diesel soot and workshop grit.
A transitional environment under redevelopment means remnants from the past, industrial dust from surrounding roads, and old drainage that may leave odours. For the method itself, see our guide to bathroom cleaning.
Ghulail sits between the port and the industrial zone, and black soot dust from trucks and workshops enters every bathroom. Even new homes and flats built here will carry this dust. Cleaning needs a strong product and gentle scrubbing to remove soot without damaging surfaces.
The location is south of the sea and next to heavy goods routes. Moisture and failed old drainage leave strong odours in the bathroom. Drain treatment from inside is essential before you can say the job is done. Odours may return from old infrastructure.
The district is under redevelopment. New bathrooms may carry remnants from construction, dust and moisture from the previous phase. Cleaning must understand that this is a transitional environment with problems from two eras: old drainage and current dust together.

In Ghulail, we check ceramic first because heavy soot may have etched the surface or left permanent marks.
Black soot needs a specialist product and gentle scrubbing. We do not use stiff brushes that could scratch.
Grout lines are black from mould and soot together. We treat each joint carefully and allow full drying.
Glass may be clouded by soot and sediment. We clean it multiple times for complete clarity.
Sanitaryware needs deep work because soot and rust cling to edges and corners.
Drain treatment is essential. Old drainage in the former site may be a source of strong odour.
We open the room, take everything off the ledges and shelves, and lift loose hair from the drains before any water or chemical goes down.
Scale on glass, taps and the shower head is not scrubbed off cold.
The joints are treated and scrubbed along the line, top to bottom, because film sits in the porous grout and a flat wipe never enters it.
The bowl, the base joint and the floor trap are done as one stage, since this is where odour lives.
What the products loosened is lifted off, and everything is rinsed downward so nothing dirty settles back onto a cleaned surface.
The damp low corners are dried so nothing feeds mould again, then we walk the room with you.
Ghulail sits about 1.5 km from Al Quraiyat and about 2 km from Al Nuzlah Yamaniyah.

We send a team, not a single person.
Where scale has already etched the glass or mould has stained the grout for good, we tell you at the inspection.
Nothing is called done until you have walked the room and said so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Ghulail sits near Al Mahjar Street and Omar Al Mutawa Street along Al Falah Road, and our knowledge of these streets and the location between old and new building makes reaching bathrooms in the transitional zone efficient. The streets and road guide us through the changing environment.
We provide these in Ghulail too, and more than one can share a single visit.
