The gear reaches the scale
Proper descalers, matched to each surface, are what move mineral off glass and out of grout.

Al Muhammadiyah is an upmarket district in north Jeddah between King Abdulaziz Road and Madinah Road, near the Corniche and the sea. Spacious villas and modern apartment buildings face the coast, where salty air and high humidity work into grout lines, taps and mirrors constantly. Hard water adds thick scale that clings to every surface, compounded by the salt in the air.
Salt settles on every surface twice daily here, and air coming from both street and sea together means constant salty air pressing on bathroom surfaces. For the method itself, see the full bathroom cleaning page.
Al Muhammadiyah is a coastal district directly overlooking the Corniche and the sea. Salt in the air falls on glass, marble and grout all day. The grout absorbs salt and moisture together and gradually darkens. Deep soaking and a specialist brush remove both the stain and the salt trapped inside.
Air from the sea carries high moisture year-round. Carpets and curtains in bedrooms stay slightly damp even with air conditioning running. A damp bathroom means mould grows quickly in grout. A powerful extractor and continuous ventilation are essential, not optional.
Hard water and salt together leave white, thick, stubborn scale. Regular wiping will not remove it. A strong descaler, long soaking and careful wiping removes it completely without scratching the chrome or glass.

Surfaces in Al Muhammadiyah may be mixed marble and ceramic, so we test first before using any strong solution.
Salt leaves stubborn hard scale on tap and glass needing a strong descaler and long soaking.
Grout is black from salt, mould and heavy moisture combined, so we work each line individually with a specialist brush.
Mirror and glass are heavily cloudy from combined salt and limescale haze, so we use a soft squeegee and check from different angles.
Sanitary fittings are marble or ceramic and may show heavy scale, which we remove gently without scratching.
The drain in a coastal district traps moisture, salt and smell together, so we sanitise it thoroughly and leave it completely dry.
We open the room, take everything off the ledges and shelves, and lift loose hair from the drains before any water or chemical goes down.
Scale on glass, taps and the shower head is not scrubbed off cold.
The joints are treated and scrubbed along the line, top to bottom, because film sits in the porous grout and a flat wipe never enters it.
The bowl, the base joint and the floor trap are done as one stage, since this is where odour lives.
What the products loosened is lifted off, and everything is rinsed downward so nothing dirty settles back onto a cleaned surface.
The damp low corners are dried so nothing feeds mould again, then we walk the room with you.
Proper descalers, matched to each surface, are what move mineral off glass and out of grout.
We send a team, not a single person.
Where scale has already etched the glass or mould has stained the grout for good, we tell you at the inspection.
Nothing is called done until you have walked the room and said so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
West Jeddah faces the sea along the Corniche, and the flats and towers along it live with salt in the air all year. Salt settles on glass as a haze that plain water spreads rather than removes, and it works into balcony railings, outdoor fabric and the metal of window frames. Indoors, humidity keeps carpets and curtains slightly damp, so they hold odours and dust longer than in drier districts, and bathroom grout and shower glass show scale quickly. Wooden floors and doors swell a little in the wetter months.
We provide these in Al Muhammadiyah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
