The gear reaches the scale
Proper descalers, matched to each surface, are what move mineral off glass and out of grout.

Al Corniche is Jeddah's northern sea front on the Red Sea, lined with premium resorts, hotels and modern villas facing the water directly. The salt-laden air from the sea means heavy daily salt deposit on all glass, taps and metal surfaces, combined with very high humidity. Bathrooms here are generally cleaner than inland districts, but the salt and humidity problem is more intense because of the true waterfront exposure.
Glass and mirrors are covered with a thick white salt layer every two or three days, and taps and metal surfaces shine but salt deposits on them very rapidly and visibly. For the method itself, see our guide to bathroom cleaning.
True waterfront position on the Red Sea means air saturated with salt particles, depositing on glass, taps and metal surfaces with very high density daily, faster than coastal areas further inland.
Direct coastal humidity feeds mould in grout lines and corners very rapidly indeed, so even premium bathrooms develop mould spots quickly unless dried very thoroughly after every use.
Bathroom curtains, towels and soft furnishings absorb salt and moisture together, becoming brittle and cracking, and require frequent washing and replacement because salt damages the weave.
A true waterfront position directly on the Red Sea with resorts, hotels and modern villas facing the water, where constant sea air and salt spray are the defining environmental facts.
Surface testing is essential because harsh salt deposits may affect sensitive metals differently than standard limescale would.
Remove salt first before tackling limescale because a salt layer blocks descaler from reaching the scale underneath.
Grout lines need very deep treatment because salt and mould penetrate deep together and return rapidly in this climate.
Glass and mirrors need very rapid drying after cleaning because sea air humidity will redeposit salt within hours if left damp.
Sanitary ware shows both limescale and salt together, cleaned with same solution but requiring longer dwell time for all to dissolve.
Floor drains in this coastal location carry very high humidity, so excellent rapid ventilation after finishing is absolutely critical.
We open the room, take everything off the ledges and shelves, and lift loose hair from the drains before any water or chemical goes down.
Scale on glass, taps and the shower head is not scrubbed off cold.
The joints are treated and scrubbed along the line, top to bottom, because film sits in the porous grout and a flat wipe never enters it.
The bowl, the base joint and the floor trap are done as one stage, since this is where odour lives.
What the products loosened is lifted off, and everything is rinsed downward so nothing dirty settles back onto a cleaned surface.
The damp low corners are dried so nothing feeds mould again, then we walk the room with you.
Proper descalers, matched to each surface, are what move mineral off glass and out of grout.
We send a team, not a single person.
Where scale has already etched the glass or mould has stained the grout for good, we tell you at the inspection.
Nothing is called done until you have walked the room and said so.

The commitment is simple enough to actually keep: we do not leave until you have seen the result and told us what you think of it.
Coastal area: high humidity and salt air through the year
At the true waterfront, air saturated with salt particles and sea spray transforms scale removal from a routine limescale problem into a daily salt battle. Bathrooms here need a different strategy focused on ventilation, rapid drying and regular maintenance cycles, not just scale removal.
We provide these in Al Corniche too, and more than one can share a single visit.
